Curlfriends: New in Town (A Graphic Novel) (Curlfriends, 1) Paperback – October 10, 2023

I purchased this book at a cheaper cost than what was listed for it somewhere else. My daughter loves the book and is very happy with it. It is also of great quality.

Bought this for my niece and she loved it. Read it all in one night.

This was a Christmas gift for my daughter. She started it not long after opening and by thr end of the day she was over half way through the book. She was barely able to put the book down. I haven't seen her so excited about a book in a while.

My daughter is dyslexic and often does not enjoy reading. She reported loving this book and said she let a friend borrow it when she was done and that her friend loved it too. I got her two other graphic novels for tweens at the same time and she said this was her favorite one.

Relatable & my daughter enjoyed reading it.

OK, this book is a must read for kids and tweens. It shows the relatable and scary feelings of being a new kid in town. This book give astonishing perspective to how your living your lives. With themes throughout the book, such as, finding your true friends and NOT always relying on the first impression, a rich and loving vibe is given from this sweet graphic novel. As many important messages are out there, this book focuses on one of the most important: be yourself.

Being the new kid is the worst! Charlie Harper is starting at a new middle school and wants to make the best first impression. Unfortunately a window washer dumps water all over her, totally ruining her look and making her lose a contact lens in the process. Could the day get any worse? Then she meets Nola in the bathroom. Nola quickly braids Charlie's hair and helps her get to her first class. Later Nola invites Charlie to sit with her at lunch and meet her other friends, the curlfriends. Maybe thing will start looking up for Charlie. I can't wait to read the next book in the graphic novel series and I know kids will love it as well.

My grand daughter loves this book she could hardly put it down.
