Best I've used so far
This is actually a replacement for a set of clippers I loaned out and never got back - same brand and make no less, maybe that's why they never got returned, they're that good! Really makes those cheapie Wahl clippers look like the junk they are. Enough bite to cut into problem fur, and takes the full range of replacement clipper blades - cheap budget clippers won't accept the huge range of very useful purpose-made blades on the market. So before you go buying set after set of cheap clippers hoping to find the one that suits your dog, take it from me - experienced here to my great cost - you won't find good clippers outside the £100 price bracket. Might as well get the best you can first time round or you'll end up spending a great deal more on several sets of budget brands, and use none of them, becausde they choke up on the fur, stop working when they get warm, and come with blades utterly unfit for purpose. The exact opposite is true of these, and I bought a number 4 gap-tooth clipper blade at same time as the standard blade these come with aren't that good for dogs like Lhasas or Shi Tzus. Good clippers with the right blade and you won't regret the expense.

Robust clippers that plough through everything
We have Tess, a beautiful Labradoodle with fur that is very thick, a bit wiry and a bit fluffy (under her tum)My cheapo Wahl clippers have given up the ghost after a couple of years of trimming so I wanted something more substantial. Mostly I’ve been buying a new set for my human hair and handing them down for dog duties but this time I though I’d invest.I always go wired as the power is good and it always takes longer than I think to get a good finish. These clippers I’ve used twice now and am pleased to say work very well. The wiry fur is devoured well. The fluffy bits need a little help passing through the guard but overall a good job. Blades stayed nice and cool. One point for reference, there is no blade adjustment as per many clippers so it’s all done with the guards. Compared to my old clippers I had to go 2-3mm shorter to get the same finish. Weirdly shorter cuts better too.Guards are sturdy and robust with a spring loaded clip on (see my other review).Overall Tess is happy, and I’m happy. Judge for yourself on my ropey clipping skills in the photos.

A great tool, must have for saving money at the grooming parlour
This tool is a must, previously i was using one of my head shavers with not much effect. This is perfect cuts the hair perfectly, isn't too loud therefore the dog doesn't get as stressed and doesn't get too hot even with extended use. When first using it you will be better using two people to get started unless you have a makeshift stand which will support the front and back end of your dog. They can be a little timid at first and usually try to sit down to hide their back end, but once you've used it a few times they soon get used to it. I have only used it with the supplied blade at the moment but will be buying some of the FC blades in the coming months. Once you get the hang of it this tool makes grooming your dog a doddle ALTHOUGH BEWARE if the dog moves quickly at first or you don't pay full attention you can cut very close with this which gave my dog a small patch much thinner than the rest but nobody noticed. ITS EXPENSIVE YES BUT MY ADVICE BUY ONCE BUY RIGHT! You will soon recover your money.

Andis Agc 2 speed animal clippers
We are very pleased with these clippers. Groomed 2 of our 3 dogs and these made the task a lot easier.

Excellent!!!
We tried the other cheaper ones which say they're really good and aren't. In desperation, with 4 dogs grooming is pricey, we tried these and they're excellent, really quiet and do the job well. I'd recommend them to anyone. The seller is fine too, prompt delivery, good price etc. First class.

Excellent Hair
Excellent product, well designed, easily used, sailed through tight coat of Irish water spaniel with ease and tidied up my own disappearing hair nae bother as well. Good quality product. Will have paid for itself in 18 months for dog trimming fees alone never mind the kids!!

Even the dog loves it.
This is my second Andis pet clipper, the last one died a natural death after about 10 years of use. As I had a selection of attachments to suit I replaced it with this two speeed unit.Easy to use, designed to fit snug in the hand and has plenty power available to groom your pet.Lets hope I get another 10 years or more from this one.

Can’t fault andis
After 7 years the moulded power lead went on my old ultra edge Andis clippers. This model was bought as a replacement and even though it’s a slightly different model it does not disappoint.I’ve given 4 stars as this has a slightly cheaper feel to it and it is far from the cheapest model on amazon. Plus it only comes with standard no10 blade.I’ve recently seen there are less expensive ultra edge models available on amazon that come with ceramic blades, which are far superior in my opinion.
