So first impressions. I bought this unit to replace a 20yr old unit that had failed. I knew what was wrong with it but last time I played around with large capacitors it didn’t end well :) so decided to replace. This unit is half the size and has a larger BTU rating. Easy to set up and has the advantage of a remote. For the price it is quite incredible, Ice cold and very low noise especially when running on a low setting. Also you don’t hear the compressor kicking in and out? My old unit you could. My only criticism is the exhaust hose but it is a common problem with all it keeps popping out at the back of the unit. But some simple bonding should resolve that. All in all a fantastic unit for the price, bring on the heatwave so I can gloat with friends :)

Easy to set up works well for the downstairs of my property it does keep the house cool I had to buy the extra extension for the outlet it’s not very long but I do think it’s worth the money

I brought two of these for my grandsons one in smaller bedroom one in the double . The smaller bedroom gets ice cold very guickly on timer hour and cooler 16 temp . The larger room takes two hours on timer use about 20 pence hour so not bad at all as only have one few hours a day extreme temperatures . They are worth there weight in gold a bit noisey but not to bad . Great they have remote control if wake up hot in night can put on .All in all I find they are good value for the price . They are heavy to lift upstairs we had the nicest delivery man ever he took them up on top landing for me as I can’t lift that kind of weight . The service was excellent I do recommend as long as you don’t mind the noise I recommend putting on before bed so sleep in cool room turn off to sleep .

Purchased this unit for the summer months to help with my sweltering room, and it gets chilllyyy!Even during the winter i’d put it on occasionally with having a few running servers in my room, and it certainly has done its job.Would recommend to people who need a powerful AC unit for their home.

So, this is my first AC Unit and with the temperature been in the high 20s it’s been very uncomfortable to sleep. Installing the Duct at the rear was a little fiddly but once you know how it works it’s simple to take off , clean etc…Once you turn it on your hit with a freezing cold quite powerful breeze and it’s lovely. Not only is it super cold but the air in generalFeels allot dryer and easier to breathe. There was a little bit of water underneath the unit after running for about half hour but since I opened the window more so that it can vent easier it’s been fine. I highly recommend this to anyone who struggles to breathe during the night etc or if it’s too hot and humid and you want a nice cool room. It’s also allot quieter than I expected and only a littleBit of noise coming from outside where the vent is so neighbours won’t be going crazy lol. Overall great product 10/10 👍

We needed an instant solution to the short-term heatwave in the UK.Arrived in less than 24 hours.Pros: Plug in and switch on. Instant cooling for a double room, could definitely do a larger room if needed.Con: Loud, even on the slow setting, this thing is loud!Con: The exhaust hose fell out of the adaptor that slides onto the back of the unit. This is an issue with all air con units, but I would have hoped there was a solution to this by now. The pipe just doesn't go back on. Really annoying after spending over £200.

It is little noisy and cooling initially was good but later on we noticed its not cooling well.
