Best ear candles I’ve used and I’ve tried a few. No ash falling from them, comfortable fit in ear, lovely aroma. Expensive but they are effective.

I bought these for my my blocked tubes in my head which were giving me a headache. I thought I would give them a try as I've tried most things but unfortunately they didn't work. Also you really need to have a 2nd person holding them as they are difficult to use alone.

I've been using the same brand for over 20 years, first introduced by my Aromatherapist. I've tried a cheaper versions but doesn't live up to the qualityof this. Smell is pleasant, materials good and it's a gentler alternative to syringing or sticking earbuds in your earholes. Just be careful that you don't do it if you've had an infection, wait till its healed. Also, your eardrum may be perforated so don't want to make it worse!

When the candles arrived in a nice box I noticed that the date printed on the wrapping was 11/02/2010 and I bought them in December 2010 - it got me slightly worried - were they 8 months expired? The second thing was the smell - both me and my friend found it quite unpleasant, a little bit like some cheap incense sticks, however my boyfriend thinks it's ok. I used the candle treatment before in a spa and improvement to my hearing was spectacular then. This time I found it not as impressive, however some wax did certainly get cleared away. Together with some nice music they can help create a bonding evening with your partner, but in terms of ear treatment I would say they're avarage.
