Our newly adopted dog started scratching and had lots of flakes on him. He also smelled. Not horrible but definitely had a distinct odor. I did some research and decided to try an Omega supplement. I liked the ingredients this product had plus was happy to see the happiness guarantee. Frank spit out the chewy on the first try. I cut it and mixed it with his food. No problem.So! It’s been about 6 weeks since we started giving him this supplement. Within a week I noticed a difference. Currently, no more itching/scratching. No more flakes and his stink went away! Yay. Give it a try. You’ve nothing to lose.Jan. 17, 2025. I am still using this supplement. With the drier, winter weather I noticed the flakes return. I upped the dose by one and saw the difference within a day or two.Additionally, this company has great customer service. I ordered a two pack for cost effectiveness. It turns out the jars were very near to expiration. I couldn’t return to Amazon, so I reached out directly to the company. They responded quickly and resolved my concern. Win win.

Helped with the itching

One of my mini schnauzers was diagnosed with a skin condition much like a plaque psoriasis. I can tell it has been painful and irritating for her. I’ve tried specialized expensive foods, yeast pills and other “allergy” chews. This one seems to be working well for her. It has been about a month of her being on them and noticed her hair feels softer, her plaques are diminishing and she seems to not “duck” away from being petted. The plaque is not completely gone yet, but this is the most improvement I’ve seen. The paw licking has stopped also! I gave it a 4 only for the fact is that it came somewhat melted in a big clump and I have to break away the pieces.

I purchased this because it’s allergy season and my 1yr old English setter had the itches bad. We decided to try this before a vet visit. She was taking exactly as directed for a week. My 5 year old catahoula had mild itching so mid way through the week he started taking them as well. So we are now moving into the second week, I wake up to let my dogs outside and my male catahoula is not moving, I thought he was just being lazy until 2 hours pass and I go to let him out again an he simply can not get up. Horror strikes! I live in a very small town and there are no vets open till the following day. He’s back legs are not moving. He’s not showing pain when I look them over no scratches, bites, broken skin, nothing that I can see. Even checked in between his toes to see if he got a splinter. Crying most of the day/night thinking he is paralyzed wondering if I can lift a 80 pound dog into a truck alone and travel to the nearest big city to search for a vet on a Sunday. I had no option but to wait till the morning. I get little to no sleep jump up to check on him and he now is using his legs. He’s never had a health issue EVER. I call a few of my dog breeder friends tell them everything they said it could be arthritis and to purchase joint supplements. I did. The next day my 1 yr old English setter now has a limp. I panicked went through my entire yard looking for anything that could be the cause of both of my very healthy babies suddenly becoming lame. Nothing in their diet or lifestyle has changed aside from the allergy supplements. Upon reading the reviews SPECIFICALLY THE 3-1 star reviews. I was horrified to read other ppl pets LEGS BECOMING PARALYZED!!! They have stopped taking them she still has a mild limp in her back leg. I assume it’s taking longer to leave her system because she was on it for over a week. I messaged the seller and have heard nothing. I let Amazon know of this as it is a huge concern. Please look elsewhere. I have no idea what the lasting effect will have on my dogs.

Our dog every spring and summer was licking his paws and under his hind legs till the hair was thinning and his paws looked pink. We took him to the Vet who gave him stuff to clear it up but he didn’t want to put him on that medication continuously.Last summer I bought this product and fed him one a day. It made his skin better. When we ran out this spring I bought another container of this same kind and he has not been licking at all! His skin is not pink. I think it works!!As far as appearance - it looks kind of green. Them I gave it to him the first time he sniffed it and I had noticed it didn’t smell yummy. But now he takes them and eats them right away.

The media could not be loaded. I bought these chews on a whim because I was running out of ideas on what to do for his itchy skin. His belly used to be red all over. I started using these chews, (changing nothing else) and his skin cleared up to its normal color in about 2 weeks. He still rolls around on grass (which is the source of his allergy), uses the same shampoo, eats the same food, has the same schedule, and his redness is gone. He is still a little itchy but it's only natural because you can't keep a dog away from grass, but where he might scratch an itch maybe once or twice a day it's great. He used to scratch himself raw like a maniac. So I'd say these worked great.The chews are more yellow than in the picture but that's more than likely bc of the turmeric so I wasn't concerned about it. He eats them in his food or as treats, they must taste good to him because he gobbles it up quick.
