Holiday block feeds fish - and unexpectedly their fry!
The media could not be loaded. I have been using these Holiday Blocks for several years now, to feed the fish, but have only just noticed it is feeding their fry, which would otherwise have gone unnoticed, as they can’t feed on the normal pellets, and perish. I have now got some young goldfish which are still black thanks to the small size of the food given off gradually by the three Holiday Blocks I dropped into the pond!

It's cheap and appears to be effective
I bought two of these before my 2-week summer holiday. Taking the tip from an earlier reviewer I drilled a hole in each and suspended them on string in the pond water. On my return the blocks were about three-quarters dissolved and had presumably been releasing the food they contain. A manufacturer of a different type of vaction feeder says these ones "alter the chemistry of the water", by which they must mean the pH is altered. Well, I wouldn't have thought these blocks would make a lot of difference in a reasonable sized pond for up to two weeks, and they appear to be doing their job of keeping the fish fed.

Fed fish for 12 day holiday-still some left
Fed fish for 12 day holiday and still some left. Holiday was in August so assume small fish in outside pool also had access to loads of flying creature food - but still impressed that 5 fish nibbled away and still about half left undissolved - and I had hung it into place underneath filtered water pipe. Will do for next holiday.

Not sure
Only dissolved a little after 2 weeks it still looked pretty much the same as when i put it in. so not very good. Saying that all my fish was alive after 2 week holiday.

Does what it is meant to do
Have purchased these blocks before & seem to do what they are meant to do, so happy to purchase them again. Good value for money compared to some that do exactly the same thing. Highly recommend.
