DOES NOT OUTPUT IN 4K!!! Yes, I gave it 5 stars, because it specifically states "Our HDMI video capture card supports up to 4K 60fps INPUT (READ THIS AGAIN) and Full HD 1080p 60fps HDMI video capture." It will NOT OUTPUT 4K. I did not read this correctly. I will not deduct stars for my ignorance.The card works flawlessly for me capturing 4K 30 from my Sony a6100 and outputting 1080p 30/60. It has worked from day one with almost ZERO effort other than physically plugging it in.I didn't read the description. All I saw was 4K and thought, 'Wow, that's what I want,' and I bought it. If you need to capture 1080p this thing will do it all day, everyday. Unfortunately, I need to capture AND OUTPUT in 4k30.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this to use on the Nintendo Switch 2. I was hesitant because it is significantly cheaper than other "quality" capture cards, however this device works surprisingly well.I've never used OBS before and I followed another reviewer's instructions and did the following on the switch: toggle hdr output off, manually set the monitor resolution to 1080p, set rgb range to limited range, turn off match tv power state, turn off 120hz support, turn off auto low-latency mode.It then showed up on OBS and I was able to stream my switch gameplay. I also had trouble getting it to stream at 60fps initially but that was also more of an OBS thing not the capture card, but I can confirm that it does do 60FPS 1080p capture after I got that working. Make sure to change the settings under controls and the video capture device to be 60FPS and check the bottom right of OBS to make sure it says it's doing 60FPS and not 30FPS.Overall the quality is great and my friends were saying it looked really good, especially at this price point. (I paid $25 and at the time of this review it is $20.79, I would highly recommend picking it up if you're in the market for a capture card)

Buy it for my son, he loves video games, the truth is that it fulfils his role, my son is super happy, I will have to buy another one for my nephew because he likes his role, buy it for your son if he is a lover of video games.

Had this capture card for over a year now and it has been working wonders no doubt! HOWEVER, so far it has worked with all my consoles (xbox series x, nintendo switch, xbox one) EXCEPT the new Nintendo Switch 2. Not entire sure why it isn't recognizing to my pc and or monitor, but be aware that your new Nintendo switch 2 might not work. Been trying everything, but will not come up on my pc/discord streaming/OBS.

Capture card options are either 720 60 or 1080 30, I've been using this with my Nintendo Switch and streaming games and haven't had much issue. No real troubleshooting is needed once it's set up so it's been a worthwhile purchase

I bought this video capture card, hoping it would be better than the previous one I had, but unfortunately, it doesn't work at all, and only shows a color bar screen instead. I tried everything I could to get it to work, but despite it all, nothing worked for me. Very disappointing. I thought the problem was OBS, and I thought the problem was the ports I had my cables plugged into, but no, it was the capture card all along. I even used the cables it came with, and it still didn't work. Using a different HDMI cable didn't work either. The settings I set in OBS for this capture card were the exact same as the ones I had set for the previous video capture card, and nope, still didn't work.All i wanted was to use these to cast my PS4's screen onto my laptop's screen, especially for recording purposes. Unlike this one, the other video capture card i have actually functions the way it's supposed to. It's not the best, there is a bit of latency, but buying this one makes me regret making the decision to buy a new one. The previous one runs around 60fps, and this one is supposed to run around 60fps as well, according to the Amazon page.I'm not sure if it came defective, or if I'm doing anything wrong, as it seemed to work fine for other people, according to other reviews, but I refuse to believe I did anything wrong. All I can say is, if you're looking forward to buying a video capture card, I recommend buying a different one.
