Great upgrade to Toyota's Noddy Car horn.
Got these to replace the terrible wimpy Noddy Car horn in my Toyota Corolla Hybrid. I followed an excellent YouTube vid which gave great help on install. Apart from sounding amazing, a real plus for me was there is no need to fit a relay; the draw for these horns is less than the original Toyota horn. I would highly recommend these if you are currently embarassed by your horn.

Loud
These are the sounds that I am used to. The sound of continental air horns, sharp and loud, really makes your presence heard and felt. This is what British cars lack, a bit pricy, but to be honest well worth the money. Thankyou

Great upgrade from stock
Really disliked our 2023 Forester's stock horn, saw the listing for the sport horns and liked the provided sound clip. Removal of the old units was pretty straight forward, given for some strange reason one is under the air box (pretty much behind the passenger side fog lamp. Removed the intake plenum, air box and the fill panel between the grille and top of the rad support. Removed both stock horns, and the shorter mount bracket from one of those. Made an extension wire (in plastic loom) to extend from the right hand horn over to the left (driver) side of the rad support which had an existing hole, mounted one new horn there (pointing down) with ground wire to mount bolt (with larger end to accommodate M8 bolt retained from RH horn removal with nylock nut). Bolted retained mounting bracket from old horn to original rad support location for RH horn, then bolted new horn to that bracket so it too could be pointed downward. Used factory power connection to this horn. Reassembled everything.Sounds great, was a relatively quick job, would not hesitate to do this again!

High decible horn!
Awesome sound. Just that the wiring provided is way too short. No bolts or kits provided for fitment. Had to purchase a engine grade bolt to manage the weight of the horn set

Very unique sound, great horn!
I just installed this horn in my girlfriend's 2003 Toyota Echo tonight. I myself have the lower frequency version (400hz + 500hz) in my 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser. That one sounds like a classic American car horn and I love it! My girlfriend just got her Echo a few weeks ago and of course, came with a pathetic sounding motor scooter horn. If any of you out there own a Japanese car, you'll most likely know what I'm talking about......meep meep! Long story short that stock horn was far from loud and would easily get lost on the highway so upgrading it was a MUST. Having had the low frequency version in my PT since June, not having any issues with it, and being very satisfied with it, I knew that another PIAA sports horn would be perfect for the Echo. After listening to a sound clip of this one, I thought the sound of it would fit the Echo better and my girlfriend agreed. As always, Amazon shipping was great and they kept me updated. As for installation in the Toyota, it was pretty easy since there is a considerably big space between the radiator and the grille, and the stock horn was right next to the hood latch. Ironically, the grill is one with the bumper so you have to take the whole front bumper off to have the grill out of the way. But fortunately, I didn't have to do this as there was just enough room for me to work around it. I put the one horn where the stock horn was and the other right next to it below the hood latch as I found a hole to slip a screw through and tightened it on with a nut on the other side. The directions provided with either version of the horns are very clear and simple. I myself have very limited electrical knowledge but the instructions helped me through it. You also do NOT need a relay for this horn as all it needs is a 12V battery to operate and it doesn't draw much power. After installation was complete, I hooked up the battery and it worked! Talk about and tremendous difference in sound and volume. These horns do in fact sound like a European sports car horn and I like the sound of them. That little Toyota Echo will now earn more respect when the horn is used and will have no problem being heard on the highway! Thank you PIAA for making such a great product!!!

Not loud
Not as described. As same loud as original horns. What's waste of money.
