Millar GH9051PW Tempered glass hob with 5 gas burners white 90 cm

We purchased this item after wanting a change from the Stainless steel ect Hob and extractor set, after searching the net, we found this Millar 5 burner hob on Amazon, in the White glass version - now saying White, it is I suppose as near to White as you could get it in a glass material, it`s actually a light grey colour to be honest, but we also purchased a White glass Extractor made by Range-master, which is luckily exactly the same shade.Our gas engineer came to fit the hob and everything went well - our last hob was an electric ceramic one, and only 70cms in size, however this hob we chose - is the 90cms one, the worktop it sits in ( Quartz ) is a good long length, so I opened up the cut-out at each side a little, to take this larger hob, the gas engineer commented that he hadn`t seen one quite like this, and that he very much liked the look of it, we were also lucky in that we had a gas connection already behind the units from an original gas hob from when the house was built ( apprx 20 yrs earlier ) anyway after air-bleeding the system - the burners all lit-up very well and just to mention that the ignition is built-in to the burner control - which means you only need one hand to turn on and light the burner, leaving your other hand free to place your pan on the burner top.Another thing to mention is that the pans sit a little higher than we thought - although thinking about it - this should actually keep the burner area cleaner, with the bottom of the pan being a little further from the flame, which may prevent the amount of discolouring to clean, that you usually get from the gas hob cooking.We are very happy with our purchase, and as such we would recommend this Millar hob to anyone thinking about buying one, at the start of this review, I had given the item a 4 star rating - however now I`m at the end of the review, I can`t think of a reason not to give it the full 5 stars, so here they are, hope this review helps

Looks lovely in my kitchen and goes really well with my glass splash back, easy to cook on , easy to clean

Looks beautiful and works well. Wanted white hob to match my kitchen but very hard to find . Finally found this on line and this looks stunning .

Great product, value for money and excellent speedy delivery

I like everything about this hob. I gave it four stars overall because the background glass is not as white as I anticipated.

Just git it fitted now... looks expensive and fab! Very happy with it.
