Very impressed! Working great and excellent support as well.
Really happy with this. Have a giant back yard tent and it gets HOT in there. Bay Area California has low humidity so it works perfect here. 95 degrees out and I can keep the 120sq ft tent at ~76 easily (output at unit is 67-68 degrees). 90 or below and the tent stays 72-73 degrees. Build quality of this evap cooler is really nice. Well thought out design. Controls work great, the swing function is nice to cover a large area with cold air. I also appreciate how quiet the unit is even at high speed. The automatic fill with garden hose is great to keep it going all day, week, month long. From opening the unit up, it is nice to see that it should be servicable in future in case you need to replace the evap pads, pump, etc. I also want to point out I had a little issue when mine arrived and support immediately helped me out and got me the part needed to fix. Great to know they have good customer service!Couple tips for those new to evap coolers:If you live in high humidity, this may not work well for you. But if low humidy, you'll be loving the cool refreshing air.I tend to find that evap coolers work better right in front of a window sucking in hot dry air. Make sure you have something open on the other side to allow ventilation.Ice isn't needed. I never notice any difference with ice. Once it runs for a while, the water becomes super cold anyways. You may need to run for ~30 min for it to get maximum cooling.I also recommend using a calcium filter on a hose to prevent build up.You will be very happy with this unit.

Cools very well
I bought this in July when my A/C went out and it was hot as hades. I put the ice blocks in it and it bliws really cold air. It has a large water container but you have to keep an eye on the water level. That’s not a big deal.Once I got my new A/C unit I still use in my kitchen to keep it cooler when cooking (my kitchen is hot) the nice thing is that you can use it without ice to circulate the already cold air.The ONLY draw back is the size. However, it is on wheels and can very easily be rolled into a closet and out of the way when not in use. I roll mine into my laundry room.I really love this air cooler it was a life saver while I was waiting for my new A/C to be installed.

Effective Evaporate Cooling
Been interested in a swamp cooler to use in our 3 car garage where I have a workspace for hobbies, exercise equipment, and perform routine maintenance on our vehicles. I’m located in the Phoenix area so conditions are ideal to utilize evaporative cooling as we have low humidity all the time. The unit itself is good quality, it’s nicely put together and looks good for what it is. Notable feedback for improvement would be to use larger diameter wheels, maybe I can upgrade that myself. The wheels are mostly fine but when pushing the unit around in the garage the small wheels tend to get stuck in the expansion joints of the cement floor. Have utilized both methods of adding water, 1 from the top and 2 via an attached garden hose which keeps the water reservoir topped off at a consistent level for extended use (which is less than the marked full capacity but doesn’t matter, this is normal and noted in the instructions). I find it best to pour water into the top to pre wet the cooling pads before use. The cooling function of this unit works well, feel like there should be a level 4 fan speed though as there are only 3 speeds and the 3 on this is about as fast as level 1 of my shop fan, maybe. I have an indoor/outdoor temp gauge in my garage and with this unit pointed toward the temperature probe from ~15ft away I’ve so far seen up to a -20 deg F difference between outside temp. The tricky part is figuring out fresh airflow for the unit without allowing too much of your cooled air to escape as it is 100% necessary to function properly. You will not be able to use this in a closed garage or other closed space as humidity levels will rapidly increase and the evaporative cooling effect will become ineffective. I tested this knowing it wouldn’t work but was curious how bad it would get, after 1 hour of running in the closed garage I walked into a garage that felt like a rainforest — you need fresh airflow. Still figuring out the best arrangement of my other garage fans to pull in fresh outside air but otherwise this evaporative cooler is working well and hope it lasts a long time. Should mention too, like others have stated in reviews both of my included ice packs are leaking after their first freeze and will need to be thrown away, bummer as they do aid in a slightly more effective cooling experience. A place to store the included remote would have been nice too but I used some 3M Velcro and stuck it to the side of the unit so I don’t lose it.

Lack of product support reply was in Spanish with no results
I purchased this as a used but like new item. It came in an Amazon box with no packaging . It was missing the manual drain plug and remote control. After finding a drain plug th3 7nit works very w3ll if I was rating the cooler it would get @ 5.Th3 reason for the one star is the lack of customer support. I thru Amazon wrote to the suppor5 in English the reply was in Spanish three further emails were ignored from the seller support.

So far so great
I moved from a tiny, tiny two bedroom apartment where the portable AC unit I had could cool the entire apartment with the help of fans for circulation, to a much larger and longer two bedroom where the portable AC barely keeps the bedroom cool. Needed something for the west-facing living room on these long summer days. Upon receiving this evaporative cooler and getting it set up to run, it cooled off by several degrees before the ice packs were even done freezing. It doesn't get very humid here in Oregon in the summer, so I could definitely feel the moisture in the air. Having it near an open window helped though.Seems to be great value and it's easy to use. The swinging arms really make the breeze felt throughout the room.

Decent Unit for the Price
Update: This the issue we had with the unit not cooling was resolved by the seller. Helps to cool the room and add humidity (to our dry climate) which is nice. Ice packs have to be swapped out frequently but easy enough to freeze them and swap out throughout the day, as the unit comes with 2 and only operates with 1 at a time.
