Worked so great and was sooo easy to use
We bought an awning for our vintage camper and while the material was nice, looked good and was heavy, I was not waterproof. As we found out after it rained for two days it collects water and everything under it gets wet. No fun.We spread the awning out of the grass and sprayed it with two coats in opposite directions. Let it dry in the sun for a couple hours and then poured a bucket of water on it.Water ran off and underside was dry.Very happy with results and would buy it again. It did as warned make the colors a little darker. It was very versatileSmells in kinda neutralVery very happy.

Awesome!
Mom hack i use this every school year. I spray my kids shoes and backpack with this and it’s awesome. Repels water and keeps color good. Smells a little strong but fades quick . Does the job well!Very versatile in use

Be Sure To Read The Directions!
We invested in new (& pricey) cushions for our outdoor chairs this summer. Several are placed in areas that will get a lot of sun and rain...both doomsday things for expensive cushions. I have used weather-repellent Scotchguard in the past & was delighted to find it on Amazon as it's not in our local stores.I sprayed each pad thoroughly immediately upon taking them out on our deck. The spray worked easily and I believe I covered each pad well. The problem was...I didn't read the directions on the can (the print is small but that's no excuse...my bad)! We have TREX boards on our deck and the spray floated down to the boards, where it showed up in a defined area around each pad as it dried and BECAME WATERPROOF. Now small areas on my deck look just like I want my pads! It rained several times after I did this and we had pooling water in each TREX section that did not dry easily. I finally decided to scrub the areas with hot water and Dawn...and that helped a lot.I am convinced that this spray will prolong the longevity of our new pads & I highly recommend it. Just be sure to read the directions first and perhaps spray the pads on grass or in some other area you won't see when it, also, becomes waterproof.

Easy to use and works!
I have used this product for years. It helps keep my outdoor cushions clean and helps shed water. I am not sure about UV protection.I believe this product has extended the life of my outdoor furniture cushions.

It's scotchgard... Of course it's good
I'm pretty convinced that Scotchgard, like a lot of companies, take the exact same product... Put a different label on it... And sell it is something different. I can't say with any certainty that this is any different than any other Scotchgard but what I can say is that it works. My wife and I recently bought one of those infuriatingly difficult to put together Chinese grill tents, they're really cool and they do work, sort of. But what it's done you might as well protect all your work. I went online and when I googled Scotchgard canvas this is what came up. It took two bottles exactly to completely coat the entire canopy as well as some extra areas for a 8 ft x 6 ft tent. The very next day it rained and it was actually kind of interesting. Little beads of rain and absolutely no water penetration to the fabric. I assume you have to do this every year which I will because it's super cheap and I never want to have to build another one of those things

Works pretty well…
Eventually anything in full sun will discolor…it doesn’t hold up more than a season or two before having to replace patio/deck cushions. We use this every late April when the cushions come out and I will say, I’m impressed by the weather proofing, the rain doesn’t run completely off the cushions, but its better than other brands we’ve used in the past. This year we tried on our deck indoor/outdoor rugs, as we usually buy the ”grass” mats, but they don’t last and we wanted a thicker/carpet feel. Anywho…will update later in summer as to carpet and sunshine.Give it a try! Cheaper than the big box stores…
