Good reliable charger so far
I'll update my review if this changes, but in last week it's charged or discharged over a dozen different lipo's I own. all came out well balanced and nothing has lite on fire! I have a high capacity power-brick I can use with it so there's no issues. I also picked up a breakout board for it so I can extend my lipo batteries further away from the charger, and it works great for that as well.gives me the capacity charged and time as well, which is a great feature. and can consistently charge at 3a.Discharging is much slower than expected (0.6a is the most I've seen it do) But it works fine for most needs without fault!I suggest you pick up a good quality charging brick to go with this charger as well.

Excellent quality and options.
I have had two of these for a total of 3 years. There is a learning curve. read the instructions or go online so that you can understand how it works. They both have worked flawlessly for three years and will charge anything you can imagine as long as you can connect it. I run RC cars I recharge lithium polymer batteries, nickel metal hydride, lead acid, you name it. it has trickle feature amp control it will do 3S lipo and 2s lipo also among many other things. If you can't get it to work RTFM!

Great charger for my 18650 and Pb car/aux batteries
Bought it to replace the burned out previous B6. The unit is authentic. I really appreciate the addition of USB port - although the software could be more advanced, it's better than no port and no software with previous model. I can now easily start my typical charging programs for 18650 and Pb 6 cells with a few keystrokes on the PC with Windows 10 - which connected without drivers, and have detailed charts for A, V and aH. Much better and cost-effective than reinventing the wheel with on-board interfaces.I'd only wish it could remember my choices for LiPo charge when I don't start charge from the PC.

This is the genuine product. Check out YouTube for tips on spotting fakes.
This unit has a real PC Link port that allows for firmware updates and data capture. It's loaded with customizable charge and discharge algorithms for many different battery types.A good charger like this one may pay for itself many times over by extending the life of expensive batteries.

All I know is that this one works great, I use this to recharge drone batteries
I did a significant amount of research before buying this unit as there seems to be a lot of similar products made by different companies, some of which claim to be the "one and only" genuine charger. All I know is that this one works great, I use this to recharge drone batteries, the settings are very customizable, Also I use to recharge AA rechargeable batteries and also used this a couple of times to charge my motorcycle battery! The only catch, make sure you also buy a power supply. I bought one that Amazon recommended, which is really a laptop power supply, but it works great for all my charging needs.

DOES NOT COME WITH WALL PLUG
Overall this seems like a nice charger. It's fairly easy to use and charged my battery pack quickly. It has a fan which is nice. BUT, it doesn't come with a wall plug/power supply which is probably on the page somewhere in the details, but that should be made very clear on the listing. It's not like it takes a standard plug either. It's a DC converter, I think 2.5mm, but not sure. A laptop brick won't work because those are 19v and this has a max input of 18v. So I ended up going to 4 different stores around here, wasting half my day to get a cord that fit size and spec requirements, and it cost me an extra $20. I would have just ordered the one with the cord if I knew this was the case. Big bummer, but overall the charger itself is meeting my needs. If you're going to buy this, please be aware it DOES NOT come with a cord.

Nothing but trouble with no one to help.
I couldn't get it to charge anything. I would receive a message saying "Connect error. Check main port." Also, as soon as the charger turned on, it would output 12.15v. It would also output voltage even if the charger was not in a charging mode. That is very dangerious. I couple of times the aligator clips touched and caused a spark. It was also outputting 12.15v when I was attempting to charge a standard 3.7v LIio battery. I didn't know the charger was outputting voltage until I felt the battery getting hot. I figured the battery shouldn't be getting hot since I couldn't get the charger in charge mode. So I check the output voltage and sure enough.I also tried to run the charger using the Charge Master software. Although the Charge Master software was nice and easy to use, I still got the same error.I also attempted to contact the seller for help and that was a big waste of time. I was asked the same questions over and over and was asked to make a video of the problem. Who do I look like, Steven Spielberg?I also tried to find support on the web but it is none existent. Besides a few YouTube videos showing how easy the charger is to use, there is nothing out there.I believe I got a bad charger and I will return it. Maybe you will have better luck.

Pay a little extra for SkyRC iMAX B6 than a clone. Better hardware and better software. Well worth
I go both a clone iMAX B6 and the SkyRC iMAX B6 mini. The SkyRC wins by a mile. It has a cooling fan and a USB connection to a PC computer. The fan runs mostly during the discharge cycle to keep the unit cool. It is important for the durability of the charger. The software is easy to navigate. After some checking. I used the charger to rejuvenate an old 7.2v NiMH pack from MaxAmps.com. It did the job on one of 3 packs I tried. That alone is worth the cost of the unit. The user need to provide the AC-to-DC adaptor of 6 amp or more. Many power brick for laptop, small class-D amplifier or car charger will work. The male plug is 5.5mmx2.5mm connector as most high current unit is. A lower current 5.5mmx2.1mm connector will not fit. I modified a 12 volt 10 amp power adaptor for a car charger for this purpose. An overkill, but works like a charm.
