CAUTION!!! DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE SCREW!
This lid is a nice lid and worth the money spent. When I open the package with the glass lid, there was a knob and attachments and screws and gaskets. On the bottom side insert the screw into a metal washer with silicone gasket. The two plastic pieces go on top. It is simple to figure out.HOWEVER... I tightened the screw snug tight and everything was perfect. Then a gorilla walked into my kitchen (me, lol) and I overtightened the screw which broke part of the plastic of the assembly. So then, I feel responsible for overtightened and I believe in making stuff work. So... I drilled a hole through the plastic knob and inserted a screw, washers and hex nut. I cut off the additional screw threads since the screw was too long. It will be fine now and will function as intended.I recommend tightening the screw until it stops and then 1/2 turn. Snug tight. Not a job for gorrilas like me.

Finally I found a QUALITY glass lid that fits my large frying pan! Thank you! I feel it is an exceptional product.

Screw too short.
The reviews shown by default aren't accurate - look at all reviews and you will see there are dozens referencing how the screw to hold the handle is too short. Mine won't even hold the handle, but even if I did manage to get it on a turn that would not be secure enough for safe usage. Amazon needs to remove this product. Its clearly a huge issue that the seller has done nothing to remedy.

screw is not long enough
I failed to read the fine print about the assembly required. That is on me. The lid arrived with four pieces to assemble the knob onto the lid. However the screw was not long enough. My husband and I tried for an hour to make it work. I was ready to send it back however he inverted the black piece under the know and it not fits. Not sure if it will hold up.

Fits just right
You just have to screw in the cap on the lid and you are ready to go! Has a little vent whole which is great. Fits my 12 inch pan.

Biggest complaint in the reviews - screw is too short!
Great lid, the screw is too short. Take off the little metal part that fits in the little silicone piece and the screw will tighten... or find a different screw.Lid appears to be tempered glass and dishwasher safe. Has a vent. Fits excellent on my Paderno frying pan. Measure before you order.

Look defective and cheep
The silver edge of lid is not proper round from inner side. It’s look defective piece.
