All parts are painted over, making it dangerous to assemble.
Please screw and unscrew every part before you put it unto the glass base. I didn't think they'd paint over the screw part, and it makes it slightly too tight to screw in. Ended up with a lap full of glass in the process.Product still works, but the hole where you screw has many paper thin chips missing from it. The second one I assembled one part at a time, took it apart (to get the paint off and to scrape the screws into shape), and that stand had no cracking or damage.

a little scary
I am using these as part of my vr setup it helps getting that coverage needed butt at high elevation (using the full stack) it tends to lean a little and it's scary. going a little lower and making sure that the base screw is as tight as it can be helps. the 2.0 basestations are quite heavy but they also have a good fov so just go as high as needed and not to the ceilling.it also helps to thread the wire as you are building it, because the wire has a tendency to get stuck by the lip of the inserts. one improovement they could have done is smooth the lip of the inserts so that the wire goes in easly, it will help making it feel more prenium.the feets are non adjustable so if the floor is irregular in the desired era maybe place it else where ?

Inexpensive, tall lighthouse stand that solved my Pimax tracking issues
I was having issues with the lighthouse tracking my Pimax with a rig mounted sensor. Moving the lighthouse up higher and angling it down towards the seat has fixed everything. They're cheap and not very well made, but they get the job done. I had to debur some edges so future me didn't end up bleeding out. A few of the threaded rods need to be retapped, but it wasn't a huge deal. These came in a two pack, but I only needed one. I'd buy them again.

They changed the design
The media could not be loaded. I bought this exact same model twice for my HTC basestation 2.0 . So I do have a point of reference and it is the exact same model from the exact same seller. I had to order another one for a third base station. The one I got yesterday was completely different same style, but the actual pole is probably 50% thinner which makes this much less stable.. And I do believe the first two that I got included power supplies because the HTC base station 2.0 the actual connector is an L shape and does not fit through the stand so they included a cord so that you could actually feed that one and attach the station extender to it. I’m very disappointed.
