A well thought out and designed set of high quality knives. Firstly - the block looks fantastic, and continues to look fantastic even after being in a greasy kitchen and having my finger prints all over it, hardly noticeable and rather impressive. It's easy to spin around to have easy access to the knife I'm after and they sit perfectly in the magnetic housing. Not too tight that I feel like I'm going to pull the block over, but not so loose that I'm worried about them falling out if knocked. The shape of the handle also makes sure they fit correctly. The knives themselves are great, very obviously high quailty, well balanced and retain their sharpness (of which they are VERY sharp). I also love that because of the raised area on the handles (on one side at least) you can place them down without the dirty blade coming into contact with your work surface. All the knives are colour coded so there's no guess work, once you've memorised the colours or just go off the size of the handle like I do. Cannot fault these at all, price seems about right considering both the quailty and the brand. Would recommend

I like my kitchen tools to be up to the task and find that a good set of knives can make all the difference when cooking. It also matters that the knives are good to handle, with comfortable feel and balance when held. Cleaning should not be difficult, and storage should be practical as well as looking attractive. I’m pleased that this set from Joseph Joseph ticks these boxes for me.The knives are excellent quality, and the blades retain their sharp edges very well. There are only five knives in the set but they are all useful and cover almost all of the tasks I need them for. The carousel holder is a novel idea which works well, especially for me as I have them placed underneath an overhanging cupboard so there’s limited height above.

The knives are excellent quality and the set contains a good variety for people who cook. The fact they raise from the counter is great from a hygiene and mess point of view. I’m not keen on the carousel, putting the knives in some positions causes them to slip forward slightly. I also don’t know how I’d keep it clean in there.

a good addition to any person who loves to cook, the knives are of very good quality for the price and there is a good variety of different kinds of knife for most situations.I have used these constantly for the last couple of weeks with no need to sharpen the blades yet. They are very easy to clean and they do not touch the worktop when placed down on their sides. The carousel allows for easy access to any of the knives when cooking.I would highly recommend this to any amateur chef who wants to step up their knife set

Received very well packed in box.You have five piece knife set.Bread knife 8 inches, chefs knife 7.5 inches, santoju knife 5.5 inches, paring knife 3.5 inches and a rotating carousel which has magnetic knife slots.They have Japanese stainless steel blades.Each knife has a integrated tool rest which stops them touching the work top.The knives do look and feel like excellent quality.Just be careful when using them if you want to keep your fingers.Hope they live up to the price at £142.62.

Very nice knives are up to any job, with no issues cutting through some tough meats and veggies, the santoku knife is my favorite, great for chopping, the knives have a nice weight, and feel premium in hand, I love the 'Elevate technology, it really does feel more hygienic after cutting raw meat. I love them so much I bought them as a wedding gift. Highly recommended.
