My wife and I both set it on 140 for 30 minutes and come out dripping, sometimes more and sometimes a bit less but sweat pours out of every part of the body. I am sure on 150 it would start sooner and maybe too hot for us. It takes a few minutes for the heat to build and the heaters do cycle on and off it seems to me. But I have yet to see a time when I didn't get really hot as time went by. Expecting it to be like a volcano vent and drench you with almost unbearable heat instantly is not going to be realized.

I believe you’re referring to what serves as the floor of the sauna. You’ll definitely want to put that in. It catches the sweat so you can mop it up easily.

Yes 👍Mine is on the carpet and no problems.

Q: Has anyone used this for weight loss?

I love this sauna and use it for detoxing. Detox is an important part of weight loss, however, I'm not sure that I'd say the sauna alone can be the one-and-only weight loss tool. You definitely sweat, which is so great for your skin, pores, and overall health.
