Versatile little radio
I got this as a gift for my husband. It works really well and is a little powerhouse. It pulls in many stations that are difficult to get, and the solar feature, though not strong, is a bonus and works well enough for his purposes. Volume is good. Love the flashlight feature when the power goes out. Charges well.

small but powerful
this is a really good and powerful radio that is hand cranked or solar powered. small and compact but is perfect for using while camping or to follow weather during major storms. Flashlight and reading lights are really bright.

Emergency necessity
It's tough to give a device like this a perfect score if you're supposed to rate "sound quality!" It's a compact device that could literally be a lifesaver in the event of a catastrophe. Although I was only able to get one local weather channel at the top end of the dial, it was a strong signal and clear. I ran through a few of the AM and FM favorites and they, too, were easy to listen to... no static or fuzz over the broadcast. The crank gives an immediate indication that it's charging but I haven't had a chance to find out how many cranks it takes to go from 0% to full charge. The USB (phone charging) connection is convenient. Not sure how long the solar panel will maintain the battery...again, just haven't tried it.

Overall Great Buy
This radio appears to be a sturdy, well made device on all counts. It is user friendly and being able to charge the device by solar power is a plus. The radio reception I am able to get on this unit exceeds expectation and the size is convenient to carry. Also enjoy the included handle, as some other manufacturers do not have handles for their weather radios.

Sure was handy during Helene
This little radio might be small in stature but it does a great job. I live in Western North Carolina and Helene knocked out everything. This little guy kept us connected and informed during all of our service outages. It has all the features you would need and my wife loves all the emergency and weather bands. Very happy with the purchase!

Not bad
Great concept, compass doesn’t work and the solar doesn’t seem to hold charge. But all else good

It’s like a switchblade
This compact little emergency radio has it all. AM FM and weather radio, flashlight, reading light. It can be charged three different ways, including solar and hand crank. The sound quality is amazingly good for such a small radio. The quality feels good in your hands. Of course I don’t know how long it will last.
