Excellent Audio & Build Quality - A Great Overall Package
Firstly, apologies for the slightly longer review but I figure that if you're looking to spend over £400 on a mic, you might want a bit of context and detail.Wireless mics are more common than ever, but they're still a reasonably specialist device. If I randomly asked 500 people about wireless mics, the majority probably wouldn't even know what they are, let alone use them regularly. As they're still a specialist product, I think we can safely categorise wireless mics into four segments without missing too many out.1. Budget. Limited channels. Poor build quality. Usually, poor audio quality. Sub £50.2. Vlogger. Quite a few 'consumer' 2.4GHz variants have appeared recently. They offer average build quality, decent audio and an attractive price but have limitations in other areas such as range. £100-£300.3. Professional. These are industry standard workhorses in corporate and broadcast work. Solid build, full range of channels and excellent audio. £400-£10004. Money No Object. These are the Lectrosonics packs with Sanken or DPA mics or similar. Stunning audio quality and build but also eight times the price. £3,000 upwards. The Comica CVW-WM300(A) is undoubtedly a professional kit and slots very nicely into the third category above. Below is my review of the pros and cons after a few weeks of use and testing. I'm reviewing the 'A' variant here which is 2 wireless lav packs and 1 receiver. There are a few different options.PROS:• Outstanding value for money. £430 gets you a complete kit with 2 transmitters, 2 mics and a dual-channel receiver (i.e. you can use these on 2 people at the same time with just the one receiver). You also get audio cables, charging cables, foam windscreen and dead cat windscreens. If you choose to put the Sennheiser name on this, you'll pay £700.• Audio quality of sets that are twice the price. All compander based wireless mics systems have limitations, but these are up there with the best. Vocals sound crisp and clean, which is what matters most with a wireless system.• Build quality is excellent. The packs are metal housing with robust, flexible antennas and retention screw 3.5mm ports (similar to Sennheiser packs). Mic cables are thick enough but not cumbersome.• Clear, sharp blue LCD screens with good information.• Menus are straightforward and easy to understand. A device with just 4 buttons to navigate everything is always a bit fiddly, but these are as intuitive as they can be.• USB chargeable with built-in Lithium Polymer pack. The ability to use any power bank, USB charger or car charger with the Comica devices is convenient.• Supplied in a decent 'PeliCase' style waterproof protective case with foam cutouts. Very nice.• The range is just as you would expect from a lav mic system of this type. 50m without a glitch but much further with the odd possible flutter.• Battery level for each transmitter can be monitored from the receiver.• Mic level for each transmitter can be monitored and adjusted from the receiver. Functionality like this simplifies the process of getting your talent mic'd up.• Full channel range (make sure you order the right version for your country)• Decent battery life. You should easily get a full 10 hour day out of these.CONS:• The packs are a little heavy due to their robust construction. This could be a problem when attaching to lighter clothing.• Built-in batteries are very convenient, but this is also a built-in point of failure. Sometimes you just can't beat a simple set of AA batteries. Easy to replace and high capacity.• It would be nice to have a stereo 3.5mm to dual XLR cable included. The Comica CVM-WM300 is a 5-star product. As you can see, there are a few niggles, but they really are just that. Everything works as well as you would expect, and the value is superb. You may not get the bragging rights of a Sennheiser but who cares. This is an excellent product at the right price.

Excellent product, very good price and excellent service!
Before buying an expensive wireless lapel kit, I rented a Sennheiser wireless lapel mic set to test it and was just about to buy one. I then came across this Comica CVM-WM300A set. After reading some reviews and seeing some videos on it, I decided to give it a try. The price was almost half of the Sennheiser kit and included not one, but two transmitter sets (and all its accessories). Not only that, but the kit included a very nice and study case, which the Sennheiser was lacking. I was very pleasantly surprised by the Comica set. The build quality is better than the Sennheiser (all metal vs some plastic on the Sennheiser), and the belt clip is much tighter than on the Sennheiser. The other major benefit for me is that it is rechargeable via the included USB cable. No need to switch AA batteries anymore! As far as sound quality, I was VERY impressed. No background noise at all and microphone really picks up the voice from a good distance. The ability to sync the channels between the transmitter and receiver via IR is also a nice touch. Sennheiser should learn from Comica. Comica’s kit offers much more for a lot less with comparable sound quality and superior build quality.During my first few weeks of using the kit, I had an intermittent problem where the receiver would start doing some high pitch noise, and eventually losing the carrier, cutting the sound off completely. The only way to fix this was to turn the receiver off and back on again. That is unacceptable to me as we use this mic for live broadcast. I cannot have a mic kit that just failed intermittently like this. So I contacted the vendor (Audio King) explaining the problem, After a few diagnostic e-mails, the vendor accepted to send me a new kit (this one with only one transmitter) but with a compatible receiver. I received it quickly and put it to the test. I used the same transmitter but switched the receiver to the new one. After three weeks of testing, I concluded that the old receiver was indeed defective as the new receiver didn’t have the same « glitch ». Problem fixed. Thanks to Audio King for an EXCELLENT service. I would definitely recommend this kit from Comica (and other versions of it) and would also definitely recommend Audio King as a vendor. Service and communication was excellent. Thanks Audio King for caring about your customer's experience.

I Can't Believe This Quality
Microphone systems are generally quite expensive and I'm a believer that you get what you pay for in a variety of product groups- mics included. Then here comes Comica and offers a product that totally bucks that trend.I've owned mic systems that are a couple of times more expensive than this Comica one yet are far and away worse products. The quality of the build on the Comica as well as the case and overall product is truly amazing, especially at this price point. Typically when a case is included with a product like this it feels like a cheap after-thought that never gets used- NOT the case here: pun intended. The case feels like one of those expensive Pelican ones that you special order for gear. The latches are robust, it has a water resistant seal, there is virtually no flex (the plastics are superb), and you feel like it could handle a couple hundred pounds of weight and be A-OK. The case is no joke. The microphone transmitters and recievers themselves... Oh, where to start. I can't really focus in on any negatives. The transmitters and receiver are both relatively heavy and built like an absolute tank. Their cases are metal and not the flimsy stuff- if you're loading your gear and a robber approaches, chunk one of these towards their head and it's game over. The screens are more than sufficiently bright and quite high resolution so each bar of battery life or signal strength is easily discernable as a quick glance. The glass used on the screens is super thick and has no flex- don't worry about banging it on whatever a user bumps in to. I love the fact that you can see the audio bar, battery bar, and signal bar from both transmitters on the receiver. That's supremely helpful. The lav-mics seem to be good quality and all of the 3.5m cables screw into the receiver and transmitters so that they don't get pulled out during use. That's great.Range is phenomenal, espceially when the audio quality is this good and there is absolutely no degradation of quality out to almost 400 feet. My findings echo what other reviewers have stated in that the 120m of advertised range is a pretty safe number. I'm getting perfect reception at 130-140m without any issues whatsoever. It's mind boggling that a wireless mic set this compact can manage a feat like that. Indoors is no problem, either. I've shot a couple of highschool pageants and used these mics through 200 feet of metal catwalks with absolutely no issue. Color me impressed.Battery life is great, as well. On the "high power" setting I seem to be getting around 11-12 hours of actual usage per charge. The lower power setting seems to almost double that, and should provide ample range for 90% of users. They seem to take around 4-4.5 hours to charge when depleted, which I guess could be a problem for some considering they have sealed, non-removable batteries.I can't believe the quality of this product, especially at this price point. I wish they charged via USB-C instead of micro-USB and I wish they'd make you a sandwich when asked- but aside from these minor quibbles I don't have any reservation in recommending these mics. They are my new favorites.

Solid and reliable!
The Comica CVM-WM300A wireless lavalier microphone product is worth the money! I was a little hesitant at first about making a decision and I'm glad I finally made the purchase! It's an easy setup and the sound quality is much better than what I was expecting. My wife is getting into interviewing when it comes to her college courses in media and this comes just at the right time! I wish I would have purchased this sooner! If you can't afford a Sennheiser setup, this will take the place of it without question because it's just that good without destroying your wallet, rending solid quality audio!
