Apple Watch Series 8 [GPS, 41mm] - Starlight Aluminum Case with Starlight Sport Band, S/M (Renewed)

I was definitely a bit hesitant at first, but when my Fitbit died I figured it was time to give this a try. Price was way more affordable than buying from the store. Product came quickly and looked BRAND NEW. Besides a generic box, watch came with accessories and nicely packaged. I’m so happy I purchased this product. Don’t let the ‘refurbished’ title scare you, has all the same features/look as a new watch with half of the price. I do wish battery life was extended, my Fitbit lasted 2x as long as my apple watch. However, I love the extended features including reading/sending texts, being able to accurately track specific workouts, track sleep, and take calls. If you’re in the market for a watch, this is the one!

I usually buy electronics used, but the features of this series 8 watch and the newly released version just seemed too similar to justify the price difference. After doing some research, I realized that the certified-used watches were also assigned a level of quality, so I opted to go with the highest quality possible, and I would never know this watch wasn’t new. I’m a nurse, and I had so much fun geeking out with the EKG feature (heart rate monitoring) and oxygen level measurement— both of which were features that my embarrassingly old Apple Watch, prior to this very overdue upgrade, didn’t have. I enjoy being able to change and customize watch faces. I haven’t swam or showered with it, but I’ve gotten it plenty wet doing dishes, and it continues to do just fine. I still like that it has the water ejector feature. I use it just in case after doing a lot of cleaning and hand washing. I have no idea if it does anything, but my first Apple Watch did last FOREVER.

I don’t normally write reviews but this was one of the more expensive products I’ve bought on Amazon and thought I should share my experience. The watch is relative new being a series 8 and you really can’t beat the price. This watch would have been so expensive to buy directly from Apple. It works as if it’s brand new even though it’s refurbished. There was only one teeney tiny scuff mark on the front of the watch near the edge but I’m talking it was so small I didn’t even see it when I first got the watch.I read the other reviews before buying it and a lot of them said how it came to them totally dead and they were worried it wouldn’t turn on or they thought there was a problem with the charging cord that came with it. To avoid that problem I also bought a charging cord directly from apple when I placed my order. I will say the watch was dead and would not turn on but it lit up with the apple symbol immediately once I put it on the apple charger rather than the one that came with it. It then turned on maybe a few short minutes later.My only irritation when I got the watch was that whoever packaged it put a sticker across the back of the watch where the charger would snap onto, the sticker had a QR code and some info about the watch on it The problem was that when I tried to remove the sticker it left glue residue ALL over the back of the watch. It was just irritating to clean off, luckily I had some rubbing alcohol and was able to scrub the glue residue off after a few minutes but still they should have used a different type of sticker that wouldn’t have done that.Overall great purchase and I highly recommend going this route rather than buying it new.

Ordered a refurbished Apple Watch Series 8. Shipping was fast and visually the item was in good condition with no scratches. Tried to charge it upon receipt and realized that the charger was repelling the watch and would not connect to charge. I reached out to the seller via the email in the package. While waiting for a response I also reached out to Apple support to see if there was an easy fix. Apple support was able to tell me with the serial number that this item was returned for this issue, and was apparently resold to me with the same issue. Day three and no response from the seller, so am returning.

Beautiful color, easy to read apps . Took 5 minutes to read setup then I was ready to walk.

This is a replacement for my broken smartwatch, so I knew what to expect. Love the smartwatch and how it keeps me on track

We are still testing the features but we are enjoying it. It meets my expectations.
