This is a superb accessory to the great Lotus grill. It enables a stable cooking temperature to be achieved much quicker, and then maintained by turning down the fan speed. This also prolongs the barbecue time available if you require to cook more food after the first batch. easy to clean in the dishwasher, the temperature gauge is useful for maintaining a steady heat for perfect cooking.The only dislike is that it should be included with the grill in the first place!

It helps to cook as it retains heat well. It's expensive for what it is, but it's in the same price range everywhere.

I liked the idea and the glass lid was recommended to me by a friend. It worked well for first use but the metal rim must have been affected by the heat as a section of about two inches cane away from the glass rim and now the lid does not sit evenly in the grill.
