Very nice rack system.
Incredibly nice rack for the money. Feels very solid. Installation took me about 40 minutes solo. I didn't use the template and instructions are probably more confusing than helpful. Just line up the pieces and bolt it together. I have fleximounts rack and I like this one much more. It seems more stable and doesn't require a center support.

Great Garage Ceiling Storage Rack
This review is for "VEVOR Overhead Garage Storage Rack, 4x8 Garage Ceiling Storage Racks, Heavy Duty Adjustable Cold Rolled Steel Racks for Garage Storage, Organization, 600 lbs Load Capacity, 22''-40"", Vevor Item model number Garage Rack 4x8ft (ASIN B0BVZCJFFB). Title and ASIN are included in the review because sometimes reviews get re-sorted and are no longer associated with the correct product. The Vevor Garage Ceiling Rack didn't ship very quickly at all. On the same day I placed the order I received a shipment notification, and the tracking status indicated that FedEx had picked up the package. The tracking showed no further updates for eleven calendar days, at which point the tracking indicated that the package had been received at a facility in an adjacent state. Two days later the package was delivered. The shipping box was big and heavy, and showed no signs of transit damage. Within the shipping box all parts were carefully packaged and undamaged.I purchased the Vevor Garage Ceiling Rack to install over the right side of my 2-car garage door. I had measured the space and knew that it would fit within the space with about 2in on either side to the door track on one side and the opener track on the other. I looked over the instructions and how one is supposed to install some paper strips on the ceiling to indicate where to put the brackets. These instructions aren't particularly clear, and I couldn't really determine how these paper strips were going to help me hit the rafters or ensure that the placement was square, so I didn't use them. Another reviewer had mentioned that the bolts stripped easily, and I found this to be true. I stripped one 6mmx16mm bolt while assembling the 8ft edges. I did consider running out to pick up some Grade 5 replacements but decided instead to be more careful and deliberate when tightening each bolt.Working alone, I had the Vevor rack completely installed in about 3-1/2 hours. The vertical beams are a 2-piece assembly to allow easy height adjustment. I raised the garage door and stopped it under one bracket so I could be certain that there was sufficient clearance, added one extra notch, then assembled all of the supports at the same length. I made two mistakes during the installation which slowed me down. Mistake #1: I unpacked the box beneath the space where I was going to install the rack. As a result, I ended up sliding the materials around on the floor many times in order to place a ladder as needed to reach the 11-ft ceiling. Mistake #2: ceiling bracket placement. No, I didn't measure or drill any holes incorrectly. I installed all brackets facing the same direction, but they should be installed so that the portion of the "L" which hangs down is on the outside edge. It didn't take long to turn two of them around since I didn't need to drill new holes. But then when I went to hang the vertical braces where I wanted them to hang I realized that it wouldn't be possible because the exact spot lined up with the gap between slots on the "L". Rather than move the brackets down a notch, I installed the whole shelving unit offset by one inch. I suspect that only a woodworker would notice that it's not exactly centered. The Vevor rack is very strong and I quickly filled it with golf bags, softball bags, bag chairs, and a number of filled bin with lids. I'm not particularly organized at this time, but in time I'll decide what is best to keep up there. I realize now that if I'm going to to continue to put anything other than bins up there it might be a good idea to install a cargo net on the short ends and maybe even on one or both of the long sides to help ensure that nothing will fall. Funny that I don't see any cargo nets on Amazon marketed for this purpose. It's nice to have the sports bags and bag chairs off the garage floor, but they use a lot of real estate on the ceiling rack due to the fact that they don't "stack" well. Now that I've had the Vevor rack installed for a week I realize that I made a third installation error. I had carefully measured to center it left-to-right (and failed, off by an inch) but I hadn't given much thought to how far to mount it front-to-back. I somewhat arbitrarily selected a position 18 inches back from the existing ceiling brackets from which the door track hangs. This position works and it gives me room to access either long edge when the door is down or just one edge when the door is up. But what I SHOULD have done was to measure where the garage door stops when it is fully up and then mount the rack such that it overhangs the door slightly. In the position where I mounted it, the garage door sticks out several inches under the rack. I can still reach the stuff along one long edge with the door up, but if I'm not careful while sliding bins off the rack I'll bump the door on the way down and that can't be good for the door. If I'd mounted the rack 6 inches further back (12 inches from the existing ceiling brackets) this wouldn't have been an issue.

Sturdy overhead storage
Came as described. Installed by one person took about 3 hours. My handyman was very happy it came with a sticky measuring template. He’s installed the one from Costco many times and said this template was very helpful.

Poor finish and low quality hardware
As you see in the picture the rack arrived already rusting. During installation several bolts stripped out. Overall disappointed with it but not worth returning. I've purchased several other items from them in the past and the quality was always good. Not sure if the was a fluke or Overall bad product.. nonetheless they need higher quality hardware.

Easy to assemble.
I was very impressed with this product. I have purchased four of these overhead storage racks. I have one 4x8 and three 3x6. I will not purchase any other brand of overhead storage racks. All four arrived in perfect condition. I found them easy to put together. I put all four up by myself. Each one took me approx. 3 hours to complete. This is a very good product.
