The knives themselves are beautiful but I ordered 6 in a wooden block, they arrived in a wooden tray. I decided not to send them back as I love the knives. I just wish I got what I ordered

We have had a set of these for 10 years or more using them as daily knives and putting them in the dishwasher all the time with absolutely no effect. Just bought some more because I abused a few of the blades over the years cutting through large bones of meat and using them as blades in DIY jobs. I worried that they would be the same quality as the originals at what seems an incredible price but they are exactly the same. Forget any doom mongers these are just incredible value.

NOTE: These come in a tray (not a block), which isn't necessarily a problem as the picture is a block, but the description does say "tray".HOWEVER!.... the finish on the back of the blades of a couple of knives was really poor (uneven, unfinished, slightly blackened), it was almost as if these are seconds?Had to return as these were a gift

Bought as a gift for a friend who is going to be totally over the moon. They are excellent steak knives.
