This is a review of Mrs. Taste Green Salted Caramel Syrup.The ingredients are simple and non-chemical:Tapioca syrup, sea salt, natural flavor, natural caramel color and stevia extract.I first tried the syrup on non-dairy ice cream (the new Daiya vanilla) and I was surprised at how sweet it is. The caramel flavor shines through and the texture is good - a bit thin for an ice cream topping so we decided to try it on pancakes and waffles, and that's where it really shines for us. As a pancake syrup, it is delicious and adds flavor to otherwise plain pancakes.After putting it in the fridge (the suggestion is to store it in a cool dry space) the syrup thickened and worked better on ice "cream" than it did at room temperature. To think it out for pancakes we just warm it in the microwave for 20 seconds.The carbs are a bit higher for a syrup than I prefer, but the ingredients are not chemicals which is generally how other syrups create a low-carb profile. I am impressed with the fiber with one serving providing 32% of the USRDA, which was very surprising to me.I like this product and will be using it regularly. It is much healthier than the product it is replacing in my pantry.

Overall I am on the fence about this syrup. The flavor is palatable, and not unpleasant...but it seems rather lacking. It is caramel-ish...Given the fact that it is not made with sugar, and is instead a lower calorie product, though, it is a great alternative to those artificially sweetened flavoring syrups out there. It is sweet without any of those weird aftertastes those other syrups have...but you do have a bit of calories for that advantage. I would still say a tapioca syrup product is the better choice here.

Mrs Taste Green's Salted Caramel Syrup is an interesting product. It is sugar free, full of fiber, and has natural ingredients. It also tastes like a liquid version of Werther's Original caramel candies. It has a slightly artificial vibe, but is still very yummy. A little goes a long way and it makes a great topper for cereal/oatmeal, yogurt, waffles, ice cream, etc. and so on. The little squeeze bottle fits easily in the hand and light press doesn't over dispense the syrup. I'd get this vegan treat again. Mine has a Best By date of 07/2023.Made in the USA~ Kort

I am a big fan of salted caramel flavors. This syrup has a good flavor to me, but it is sweetened with Stevia. That sweetener can be bitter and unpleasant if you are not used to it.The bottle says to refrigerate after opening but that makes it get thicker. The syrup is harder to squeeze out when cold. If you want a hot salted caramel syrup, you have to heat it up in a separate container. I like the versatility of this syrup and have enjoyed it with pancakes, oatmeal, yogurt, and ice cream.

At the current price ($12) for a bottle, this is definitely on the more expensive side for what is effectively a condiment for sweet stuff. However, the taste is outstanding, it will not blow your diet if you are diabetic as there is no actual sugar, low carbs, etc... It is keto and vegan friendly, etc... I generally do not like stevia-based items, however, this is not just acceptable, but it is actually good. If the price was less expensive it would be a five-star item.
