ARAMISHavana for Men Eau De Toilette Spray, 3.4-Ounce

A classic fragrance that (for me) wears best in the fall or on a coolish summer night. It is decidedly from another era of colognes, perhaps even belonging to an era prior to its release in the 1990's when men's colognes were slowly becoming bland, quick fading and offensive to no one.While this isn't as in your face as the original Aramis for me (also a true classic) and certainly nowhere near as wonderfully offensive as some of its contemporaries like Joop or Bijou, this isn't a demure fragrance that will go unnoticed. It's warm (ok perhaps approaching hot depending on how much you wear), spicy and unlike some reviewers may suggest, it's decidedly anti-floral and anti-fruit, except for those that, like orange, add to the character of the spice. But this is not an orange spice cookie. It' sweetness is more balanced, more adult. Perhaps that's why fragrances like these get labeled for "older" men. How sad that fragrances get dismissed with the language of ageism!Please note, this isn't Old Spice (also another true fragrance classic) and no one will confuse the two if you are the type of man who is offended if someone believes you might be wearing a cologne that is readily available at the drugstore for $10.

As far as I can discern, the fragrance matches the great original one I purchased some years ago. That is not always the case when buying perfumes or colognes. Arimis Havana by far the most enjoyable cologne I have ever used, which is why I was willing to pay $100.00 for 3.4 ozs.

A long time fan of aramis classic, I decided to blind buy Havana based on reviews and notes. SO happy I did! This is a beautiful, classic, masculine fragrance that makes me happy, and a bit more confident. To me, this is a barber shop type fragrance that takes me back to simpler times, which is quite comforting. I find the performance excellent on this, getting about 6 to 8 hours, with modest projection--yet noticeable. The beautiful oakmoss is so enjoyable in, I believe, the heart and dry down. My wife, who isn't exactly a fragrance fan, has already complimented me several times on this one--a nice bonus indeed! Highly recommend Havana for a mature gentleman.

I ordered this product because it was highly praised in the reviews, now while it is a great fragrance, i'm not certain everyone would feel the same about it... It is my first time using this fragrance and i gotta admit i wasn't too keen of the scent at first but the die down is great, with a nice subtle woody kick to it. It'll definitely help you to stand out if that's what you're looking for, longevity is great also it lasts well over 10 hours no problem. I gave it four stars because it took rather long to arrive where as i bought one from Amazon and it arrive in a couple days, but still Great Product.

I bought this for my Man, the scent notes convinced me but it's too old. He's 20, but this smell is more for like 30-40 yr olds. It's a good smell, it's cinnamon and masculine, with hints of cigar, it just smells like something ur grandpa smelled like when u were younger.

If you like Havana, get it now. Original.

My wife was delighted when I visited the US in 2010 and was able to find Havana for Men on sale again - only the packaging has changed, the content is still the same.This spray has always been the favourite of my wife (and she wears it more often than I do) and since the original product was discontinued (maybe 10 years ago) we have only managed to find a few bottles for sale - usually in small "old fashioned" perfumeries.The only remaining question is why Aramis has not made it available in Europe

Great product nice to see it came back on the market. Used to be in a blue conga drum. Still the same great scent and value.
