NETGEAR EAX15-100NAR AX1800 Dual-band WiFi 6 Mesh Extender Wall Plug - Certified Refurbished

First off, I didn't buy this to extend the signal of my wifi network. I get a very strong signal throughout my house. But, I wanted to hard wire my work laptop in my office (doing so eliminates the need to VPN into my company's network daily). This device worked perfectly. Easy to setup, hasn't dropped the connection at all (been using for a few weeks now) and the connection is fast. Getting about 500mbs wired which is about the same as I was getting on wifi prior to installing this device. It seems to extend the wifi network fine too as a few devices connected to it via wifi once installed....not sure if those devices are getting a stronger signal now, but haven't had any issues with them connecting to it. Recommend if looking for a way to hard wire your device.

This worked perfectly to extend WIFI coverage to the inside of my pole building. I had 3 bars of WIFI at the pole barn window, and no signal inside the pole barn.. I placed the Netgear EAX15 on the window sill and now have a full wifi signal throughout the entire pole building. Garage Door Opener and Security Cameras now work on WIFI. Super Easy setup by pushing the WPS button on my router and on the EAX15. Everything connected on the same network - No Extended network needed.

It's a bit tricky at first setting it up. Don't skip steps because it's a hassle.Once ready it's working like a charm. No dead spots.

This was a refurbished unit. Perhaps whatever defect it had was not corrected. Instead of boosting the signal, it interfered with the wi-fi to the extent that it caused some of my devices to lose contact with the system sporadically. I have returned the extender. Again my devices are all back online with uninterrupted signals--perhaps not running at optimal speed but at least dependably.

I cannot tell you all the troubleshooting I performed when I went to Fiber internet and still was unable to get coverage upstairs. I had bought 3 extenders including the ATT 4971 $10 month that was junk before buying this one and it solved all my issues concerning disconnections and buffering. The Nighthawk app is very cool as it breaks down your devices from 2.4GHz to 5GHz by simply boosting your current internet coverage not creating another network like with some extenders. I definitely recommend it as I placed mine downstairs 25 feet away from the ATT Gateway solving all my problems upstairs including a LG TV and wireless tuner that now works great!!! I canceled my ATT Extender and sent it back as I was very confident this device would do the trick!!! You can spend a lot more on Mesh Extenders but for $89, you can’t beat the Netgear Night Hawk!!!

Love it! Purchased this when our network provider upgraded our old router and my old extender wouldn't connect to it. This is so much better! Easier to connect. Much faster! No more switching between HD and SD when streaming. The app works well and has some nice features. Very happy with my purchase!

I paired this extender up with a Nighthawk RAX 120 v2. This over 5ghz.Range with first setup was around 200~ FT from the router near the stairwell download speeds: 15MB down and less than 2MB up. Latency ms was in the 20-40 ms range. Very poor for my source connection is over Fiber at 1Gig+ downstream and 900+mb Up.I relocated the extender closer to the router albeit the router is located upstairs, but directly in line within 50-75FT from the extender. This yielded 350MB down and 100-120MB up. Much better latency averaging around 7-10ms.Overall if you have a small area with less obstructions it's suitable for 5ghz. If not I would look for something more powerful.I'm going with another extender for better range. The performance was a bit too unstable for me.

I purchased two of these and they were so easy to connect to my router, just push a couple of buttons and your good to go, along with the app showing what is connected to each extender makes everything so easy. I would buy again.
