Dose of Colors - Meet Your Hue Foundation, 1 oz

First of all: I'm editing my review.. I've had this foundation for awhile now and.. I love it, MOSTLY for that COLOR!I'm a blue-tone, pale as hell, could play snow white, winter color, blue eyed, blushy face, Vampire, freckled chick. Foundation shade's NEVER match me. EVER! EVER, EVER! I don't even bother to color match anymore- I just chose the lightest shade and usually it's not even worth it.And.. I dunno about you but, I am sick and tired of blending foundation down my neck where it needn't be in the first place.. My neck is vampire white.. Nosperatu white.. Dracula, freaking twilight white..The great thing is? THIS COLOR, 101-FAIR IS AMAZING! It actually freaking MATCHES me! It's SO PERFECT that I still use it eventhough the formula can be a little drying on my skin.. But I don't even care! It's not horribly dry, mind you.In my photo: From The top of my wrist downward- is; Dose of Color- 101 Fair, Hourglass- 1 Blanc, Loreal Freshwear- 390 SNOW, Haus Labs Triclone- 000, Catrice Tinted Serum- 001 N.Don't even get me started on Loreal's Snow.. I mean, since when is snow orange? I digress..But look AT IT! see how Dose of Colors LITERALLY fades into my skin- ESPECIALLY IN THE SUNLIGHT! Ugh, sunlight is usually a nightmare for my skin and foundation.. With this my husband hardly notices I'm wearing makeup!A little goes a LONG WAY with this stuff.. Seriously- this goes full coverage, but these days I like to look like I'm NOT wearing alot. I also prefer a glass skin, dewy look. I like that I can achieve both with this.Also, guess what? It DOES NOT oxidize!! Or change color- or look strange after awhile..If I do use any sort of concealer? This seems to pair well with my Hourglass Stick in Blanc. They're nearly identical but Dose of colors has that.. Blue-ish white brightening effect that I love so much.. It's lighter by alot and, if you're light like me? Then that little bit of difference matters a lot.. I dunno what it is.. I just love the color.If you're a pale white chick like me, and you're on the hunt for something that's truly epic.. Are you sick and tired of things being labeled as "COOL TONE" only to question what the hell they were thinking after testing it?This will blow your mind. It lightens redness like to other.. So if youre blushy like me.. This is a lifesaver.Honers go to Haus Lab's for making 000- though I just haven't learned how to use it yet..I am TRULY IMPRESSED that Dose of Colors was willing to make a shade this light. Most other make-up lines basically refuse.. And sometimes I wonder what they're thinking with the fairest shade ranges..This is LITERALLY my GO TO foundation.

This is one of the best foundations I think I’ve ever used in my life.The coverage is great but not too heavy, it buildable and looks so great on the skin and I have less than perfect skin. It’s dries down to a matte that is natural looking, and it seriously wears ALL DAY even without primer.I’m a server in a busy restaurant in Dallas, and even with running in and out and sweating and wearing a mask, it doesn’t budge. I do set it with setting powder under my eyes, my forehead, around my nose and chin and use UD All Nighter setting spray. I will touch up with some translucent powder maybe once through my shift, but that’s cuz I little shiny around my nose from sweating, but the coverage is still there.I’m 38, getting some lines, and it doesn’t settle into lines, smudge or smear. I prefer to use my fingers to apply it and I only one pump to fully apply to my face and neck.It’s not runny, but it’s not super thick either. It does feel a bit tacky right after application but it dries down in a few minutes.It doesn’t feel heavy and it’s not drying, but I do use a moisturizer every morning and keep my skin exfoliated. I used to have combo skin but not lean on the dry side and it doesn’t cling to dry patches.I bought it in the shade 111 Light which was a perfect match. It completely disappeared I color swatched it on the side of my jaw (the best place to color match). My body is a bit paler, so I do blend it down on my neck (as you should anyway).I highly recommend this foundation. It’s a beautiful formula and looks beautiful and natural even in the harsh light of day lol. This has been my everyday foundation when I work or go out for a date night with the bf. I also haven’t broken out from it, which is a huge plus.It’s definitely worth the price. I love Dose anyway and have a ton of their matte lipsticks and their quality is superb which I decided to try this. I will most definitely be repurchasing.

I loved the shade, I am super light skinned so it was awesome to find a color that matched my tone. However, this is not a good foundation for dry skin! Damaged my skin trying to take it off it was like glue sticky and would not come off. My biggest issue was that it flaked and looked super dry after only an hour or so. I will be returning and do not recommend this for dry sensitive skin

Beautiful coverage, long lasting, perfect match. This foundation makes your skin look absolutely flawless and I'm mean flawless! Too bad they discontinued it.

A very solid foundation that wore ok during the day. It wasn't super-longlasting but put up a solid fight against my oily skin. Unfortunately 103 vanished off the face of the Earth - it was literally my perfect shade, 105 does in a pinch but is darker and very orange, so I need to mix in colour mixers to get it more useable.

I’ve heard of Dose of Colors and watched some videos on their products, so when I came across this foundation, I decided to give it a shot. Holy Crap!! I absolutely fell in love after the first initial layer. Shade match was dead on. I wore it for about 16 hours (and thru some exercise) and it still looked fabulous. It doesn’t fall into my smile lines and it stays put around my nose and mouth. I’m absolutely in love with this formula and have already ordered a couple of back-ups. A+. Box 5. Impressive!!
