Do not buy if you are looking for a space saving printer - this one is big. For the money, however, the features and performance so far are terrific. Printing is very fast, and the quality is super. No issue getting onto my 5G home network.Scanning is impressive, and even has ability to scan directly to your mobile device or cloud. I had it scan receipts directly to my phone as a PDF, and also directly into Google Drive - it created it's own folder.You an even create shortcuts for the most used feature with settings. It's going to take me a while to explore all of the features.For the cost of just over $400, I do not feel there is anything else that compares for a small home office setup. Previously had another brank "tank" printer, and had nothing but connection issues back to my PC. Seemed every time I wanted to scan, I had to unplug printer and reboot PC. So far, Brother seems to be flawless - even from sleep mode.Will see how long the ink lasts - did a few prints on 11 x 17 as well as borderless - much better than my previous printer.Purchased this one with my own $$ - no free product - I am an actual user, and so far it's nothing but thumbs up. To me, the quality of construction, materials, screen and just fit and finish is on par with more traditional Office grade equipment versus just a "home" printer.

This Brother printer/scanner/copier is a vast improvement over the HP OfficeJet that it replaced. The setup was fast and simple (although the USB cable connection was a little unusual and unexpected) and gave me the choice to use a USB or wireless connection. I chose the USB connection, to bypass the wireless network instructions. This model will scan and print to 11x17 paper size, which is important for me. Scans are fast, and give me the choice of color, greyscale or black&white. Printing and copying are also fast. My old HP spent minutes going through its self-diagnostics and tests, which was always annoying. I can feed in a stack of documents in the feeder tray on top, or place one sheet on the scanner glass for scanning or copying. The touch screen works well and the scanning app that I downloaded works well also, but I do have to admit that I liked HP's scanning application better than Brother's. That is minor however, and not enough to deduct a star from my review. The tank-like ink cartridges were easy to install, and look like they should last a lot longer than the tiny HP ink cartridges I was used to buying. To sum it up, so far I love this printer... it's fast, quiet and easy to use. What more could you want?

This is a really nice printer for my home office. Installed quickly and connects to google drive and other cloud storage locations for alternate access. I havent run out of ink yet so thats a positive. Print quality is not a clear and as a laser jet but thats to be expected. It prints pretty fast unless you have a large image file. Would buy again.

If I could give this printer a ZERO rating, I would. What a disappointing piece of crud -- this printer stopped working less than 2 months after buying it. PAPER JAMS GALORE -- after printing a single sheet, it sucks it back in after partically sending it out, creating a paper jam. It was easy to set up, but if it can't print simple sheets of paper, it's useless. It has very little use, which the internal counter can confirm. The Scanner cuts off the edges of your document, even when scanning steno pad sheets... placement doesn't matter. THIS IS A TERRIBLE MACHINE. DO NOT BUY THIS.

This is a replacement for a Canon printer that errored out and not work sending for repair. Took a lot of searching for a duplex print, ADF duplex scan all in one printer with good reviews. This printer is easy to setup and is working as expected. Print quality is very good. Scanning is effortless. The only issue I have is that it handles legal paper scans and prints which I did not need but accepted for the other features. Takes a bit more room that the Canon, but that is okay for a quality printer. So far, I am very satisfied and enjoying the use.

4 months in and this printer has worked really well for my new engineering firm. 11x17 double-sided printing lets me print off check sets of drawings cost-effectively. It is quite a bit faster than I was expecting and the print quality has been more than adequate for my needs (mostly printing structural and architectural drawings in B&W and color on 11x17 paper, forms on 8.5x11, and bank checks on 8.5x11 high-security check paper). The 2 large trays for letter and 11x17 paper are great. The duplex ADF scanner works well, and it integrates with Dropbox. I don't print from my phone often, but it worked pretty simply too. Nice big ink tanks that look like they'll last a while. The touchscreen menu is large and easy to operate. So far, my only complaint has been that the bypass tray tends to feed sheets unevenly, so printing check from the bypass tray came out skewed slightly. But putting my check paper in the regular letter tray works well for that. Printing business cards requires using the bypass tray, so I do have to seat each page of cards carefully to get them to feed correctly. But otherwise, I'm very happy with it.
