Excellent fineliner pens for adult colouring
I bought these recently as I'm an avid adult colourer and am a massive fan of using fineliners to colour in the millions of tiny detailed pictures.Reasonably priced (I paid 9.99 with free postage) for the pack of 20. Considering the fact that they are made by Faber Castell who are usually quite highly priced this is a good deal.I only have one gripe but it wouldn't affect the 5 star rating - that I can only find these in 20 colours. I have two other sets of faber castell pens that come in 50s so would love to see more of a range in colour. Saying that, this packet gives you practically every colour you need to work with.I have used each pen once on a picture from relax with art magazine to give you an idea as to how they colour.Would I recommend to a friend? YesWould I buy them again? YesAre they easy to use? YesAre the colours bright enough? Yes

Value for money
I toyed with the idea of the Faber-Castell Pitt pens but decided I didn't use them enough to justify the cost. For what they are, these are excellent. Its a triangular shape barrel thats rounded off, so very comfortable. The colours are bright and clear. I did find that some colours flowed more smoothly than others, but a dab to get going on a scrap piece of paper soon initiated a smooth line. I used them for lettering on a watercolour birthday card, made for a 3 year old on a heavy, but smooth, Derwent paper, I haven't tried on a rougher paper finish. Happy with purchase.

Vibrant and a comfortable set of pens.
I bought these a few weeks ago now, they are brilliant for writing with and adding colour to revision notes (in my case). Unlike other fine liners i have tried, these have quite a thick barrel which makes them nicer and more comfortable to hold. In terms of the ink, they glide very easily and they would be perfect for art work too as the colours are extremely vibrant and there's a couple of beautiful colours in this set which have a vibrancy unseen in other fineliner type pens i have bought. These also work beautifully for the adult colouring books that are doing the rounds these days.Only slight downside is, not sure how long these are supposed to last, but the nib on a few of mine have started to lose their initial vibrancy/ease of use, a bit like a blunt pen. However, i must add that over the past few weeks i have used them intensively for writing/revision and even the odd spot of colouring, so maybe the 'defect' is a result of my own constant usage. All in all i would recommend this product for artists, students, kids and adult colouring book users - well worth the price too.

Excellent value
I bought these pens not being fully convinced that they would be quality for drawing and zentangle. I am so impressed with them - no blotting, lovely to hold and use. Should have known that Faber Castell rarely disappoint. Will certainly buy again.
