Veganicity Pregnancy Essentials Multivitamin : Women's Health Supplement : 60 Tablets, in a Planet-Friendly 99% Recycled Pot

I have used these a few times and think they are great for pregnancy, at a good price.

I'm giving these 3* because they do have everything said to be needed, however they really do taste and smell as bad as the other reviewers say!! With morning sickness, these were almost impossible to swallow with the stench and the bad taste. They also make your pee smell the same and turns it the same colour as the pills! Haven't renewed the order and went with a different brand.

Does the job and has all the essential vitamins and minerals I need (except calcium, as I'm currently nursing) but they do smell awful!

I only recently got to compare the vitamin levels of this product with another natural maternity that I take. I started to notice that any day I take this instead of the other one (Together Health), my urine is crazy bright yellow, like neon. I started reading about it and I found that it happens when you take too much Vitamin B. I had a look and this vitamin has crazy amount of the various B vitamins, B1 1364%, B2 1071%, B6 1786% and B12 4000%, which is 40x what's needed for a normal day. While I understand we need more in pregnancy, I read that too much B12 could potentially cause autism. Also I read that we should avoid vitamin A supplements in pregnancy, this product has 125% of our daily need. I wonder if anyone actually checked the vitamin levels of this product before allowing it to be sold for pregnant women. I used to alternate the two vitamins I bought, but after realising this, I will stop using this product immediately.

Tastes funny and makes my urine bright yellow but brilliant otherwise. No sick feeling as I experienced with other vitamins

These are good in terms of content but the taste (really strongly of iron) is absolutely disgusting and has caused me to throw up several times with an already queasy pregnancy stomach. Much better to get gel cap ones that disguise the taste as these are genuinely foul and I have to take a lot of bad tasting tablets!

After using pregnacare for more than a year, it was making me sick. This vitamin is a perfect alternative that didn’t make me sick!
