Always count on the Captain!
Smells amazing and a very manly scent, very strong only need to use one or two sprays a time and lasts all day most the time even into the next day.Had a fair few compliments, Misses loves it and it's going to last for a very long time, certainly worth the price tag.

Makes the heart strings crack
As said.......Makes the heart-strings, ..........and other senses, crack.I was introduced to the booze and baccy when I bought this eau de parfum in the Lake District. If I wasn’t on holiday with holiday pocket money to spend, I would have probably ignored it at £65 a bottle. My instincts were that the bottle of Captain Fawcett I bought years ago was one I really liked at the time. When it ran out, I didn’t pursue a replacement. I think a bottle of Woods of Windsor replaced it. So, as I remembered the Captain range had an old fashioned element and maybe this would be the same. Soon as the tester of Booze and Baccy dried on the skin, I was hooked. On reflection, it is the best £65 I’ve spent for well being and feeling great. Instantly my favourite smell of all time. You have to be prepared for the earthy intensity of this range. Very much an autumn/winter mood about it. It moves through various odours as the day goes by. It’s a smell that you have to be confident to wear. People say older guys suit this aroma. Having lived, they can carry it off. But I think younger, bohemian guys, artists, bikers, musicians, could easily carry it off. Ricki Hall, the model who put this synergy together, is Bohemian, so probably is the best example. He put the odour balance together didn’t he? Beard, tattoos and cool persona. Me. Older, fits in his skin and comfortable with this Booze and Baccy amongst tweed, cord and denim. Wear this, drink espresso followed byJack Daniels and smoke aromatic café creme whilst listening to your favourite music and reading your favourite author. Remember it’s your music/book/drink/whatever….It hits the limbic system with a punch. It’s your memory in the making. So…..creating those memories can be realised aplenty from this parfum. Sit back and enjoy. It’s gorgeous. It really is that gorgeous. Kipling wrote “Smells are surer than sounds or sights, to make your heart-strings crack”. But a combination related to all the senses, with this on board, rocks.

Simply gorgeous gentleman's classic
Not the most modern scent but, it is sumptuous. For me, thick notes of cinnamon, cloves, smokey musk and sandalwood. An absolute cracker that really lingers. You get your monies worth with this. A timeless gentleman's classic.

It's nice once over the first spray
You'll sit like me racking brain over what odour best describes this aftershave and then you'll remember school days and fireball gobstoppersTakes a while to get used to but it's pleasent

Too much
I love the idea of it, but in practise it's just way too medicinal and heavy. Settles down, but the initial spray is massively off-putting and certainly not pleasant. Nicely packaged.

Marmite.
OK, so this a real 'marmite' fragrance, you either love it or hate it, there's no middle ground. I'm no expert but for me the opening is very medicinal, I got a giant waft of clove on the initial spray. I get zero booze from it and the tobacco dry down is mild at best. This honestly needs to be about £20 cheaper as I would say it's pretty weak for an EdP, it only lasted around 2 hours on me but then again everybody's skin is different.

Love it
Having used the beard balm thought I would take a punt on this and really liked it. The scent is very masculine and really lasts. Even after a shower the next day could still get a light whiff. One of my favourite colognes now.
