is it compatible with iMac?

Can it be used with a screen pen? I have very bad nerve pain using a normal laptop touchpad or traditional mouse so looking for alternatives

the pad is only 9cm x 7 cm (approx.) so I would think that using a pen with it would be awkward. However, I don't know if you can use a pen with this touchpad - I use it as a conventional touchpad
