These omega 3s are in my opinion the most affordable and high strength fish based caps on the market that i have sourced.I use this for its anti inflamatory and anticoagulant effects which are the root of most diseases and also linked to depression and heart disease. From the studies i have researched it appears omega 3 in the correct dose is one efective treatment option for depression along with a plant based whole food diet, vitamin D (actually a poweful hormone) and exercise. A word of caution, due to the strength, after taking 3 caps for about a month, i ended up with very low mood and insomnia and back pain.To my knowlege this is because omega 3s is a strong hormone and has an effect on brain chemistry, seratonin and dopamine levels and transmission. It tipped the balance and caused the effect i was using it to treat (a seesaw effect in the bodies positive and negative chemical feedback system i think) .Reducing the dose to no more than 1000mg dha and epa corrected this and my mood and racing mind with no way of sleeping was lifted. Too much of a good thing comes to mind. You can search the internet for omega 3 insomnia and depression for more accounts..which was my eurika moment.So in summary this stuff really works or atlwast did for meDont overdose..1 or 2 a day is more than enough and may need to be adjusted to weekly doses as your levels raise in the blood/brain.Other sources are salmon, albacore tuna(not just any tuna) kippers, mackrel and herring. Dont be fooled omega 3 is a group of fats in a chain reaction the omega 3 in plants although have thiers own benfits has only a 3% coversion rate to dha..the hormone that does the business.

Excellent results and a very good price

These capsules do NOT contain 430mg of DHA as stated above - the seller has the numbers reversed. The label on the bottle states the capsules contain 430mg of EPA and only 220mg of DHA. I informed the seller of this, however the error remains uncorrected one month later.If you are looking for a low cost generic Omega 3 capsule I'm sure these will probably fit the bill (I returned mine for a refund), but if you bought them specifically for the advertised high DHA content then be aware the numbers are incorrect on the sale page.
