Clip on Windshield Cooking System One Size Grey

The media could not be loaded. Bought this to block excessively strong winds after a trip where the winds were so strong I could barely boil water. Using the BRS stove with MSR cannisters. This fits the cannister perfectly. Unfortunately it didn't fit my cook pot so I bought a toaks 750ml pot (got the tall skinny version, which I honestly wanted anyways) and it was perfect. The shield and toaks pot nest together perfectly so packing it is no issue in terms of space in my pack. I haven't had a chance to use this in the field yet but I did a little test in my apartment by just blowing at it as hard as I could. As you can see in the video, it blocks some of the wind. I didn't expect it to block much considering I'm blowing right at the shield, and airflow that concentrated will find a way around. But I'm hopeful that it will work on those super windy nights to at least let me get a flame going on my stove. Once I get a chance to use it I will be sure to update here. As far as weight, I think it's just fine for backpacking.

Have only used a few times so far, but it has drastically reduced my boil time. I have the BRS stove with Toaks pot. The windscreen fits around the outside of the pot (pot is protected by the orange stuff sack). Very happy so far with my purchase.

It marries up with my Optimus Crux like a champ. Blocks the wind without the fuel bottle getting warm. This should last me for years
