8 year old LOVED IT!
My son built it and LOVES it. Wants another now. Be prepared to spend a small fortune on many of these.

Pull back truck
This was a Christmas present. My nephew put it together in a few hours and it worked as expected. He was very happy.

Great build, Strong and Sturdy
While, this is not a Lego brand build, it is, however a great build. The pieces are very good quality and they fit well. The car has a cool feature that allows you to pull back and the car takes off. My only gripe is that some pieces are very similar and the instructions could do a better job of making distinctions clearer. You really have to look closely at all the images to make sure that you’re not using the wrong piece at the wrong time.

My grandson loved it. He is 8yr he had it finished in 2.5 hours
He lives in Georgia. I don’t get to see him open it. I do know he worked on the Lego truck about two and half hours. He finished really quick 😊

Very solid when built
They probably can't say this in the description. But you were probably wondering. Yes, the kit is fully compatible with LEGO. I tested with some LEGO kits and other than the missing LEGO logo on the dimples, the parts seem identical.I do a lot of LEGO kits, and I generally estimate the cost by taking the number of pieces and dividing by 10. So, a basic 390 piece LEGO kit would cost somewhere around $39.00. This kit has a lot of small pieces though, so probably a little less. Comparatively, still a reasonably good value. The kit is very sturdy when built due to the large number of “technic”-style pieces. Almost all of the pieces are secured with 2 or 3 segment pins. There are actually very few of the more traditional-style blocks. This means you can play with the car, and not worry that it's going to fall apart. On the flip-side, sometimes the pins are difficult to align/insert.I liked that the car has springy shock-absorbers. Doors and hood open/close.I wasn't thrilled with the pull-back/release mechanism. As you might expect, it doesn't work well on carpet, and will go off crashing into walls with smooth flooring.

A great alternative to LEGO.
My daughter enjoyed building and playing with this truck much more than actual LEGO kits in the past. The playability of this kit is superior to LEGO, which we have may of.
