Quick and easy replacement for Friedland Libra+ doorbell button
We bought this as a replacement for a Friedland Libra+ doorbell button which had become intermittent, despite new batteries. This Honeywell button is listed as a compatible replacement and was quick and easy to install. To pair the new doorbell button press the button on the Libra+ and keep it pressed. Each Icon will light in turn, when the Icon you want is lit, release the button. While the icon is still lit, operate your new Honeywell push button. The chime will sound and the Icon will flash. The button is now paired. A lot smarter than the original button and works perfectly with the Friedland plus doorbell and extender..

Very Neat
This is the second of these switches I have bought within 9 months. The first started perfectly but within 6 months it was ringing intermittently or not at all. We changed batteries but no change. Finally when the bell was pushed it kept ringing. Obviously time for a new one. Have now purchased a second switch and hope I do not have a repeat of the first. When reading other reviews, the problems I experienced seem to be too common. I would have ordered a different switch but needed it to be compatible with the doorbell box. I really hope Honeywell have updated the bell and this one will last longer.

ALL IS WELL WITH MY HONEYWELL BELL
This is a single Honeywell wireless doorbell, using a lithium C2032 (3 volt) round flat battery.Compatible with three Honeywell door bell units using 868 Mhz, up to 150 metres distance.I had already been using the model shown in the photographs (self labelled), the unit itself is mains operated, but after one year, the bell push began failing to respond correctly, until stopping functioning completely. The bell push battery tested as fully charged, yet despite various means to get the bell push working again, it didn't.Hence it was good to find that the bell push is available singly. The new one works perfectly and I hope that it shall last longer than 1 year.Unlike me, when this is depressed, it briefly glows red, just before the bell tone sounds. All is well with my bell!

Not compatible with the doorbell.
2 years ago we replaced our similar doorbell with a newer model. As our doorbell gets extremely wet in gales, we have to occasionally replace the push button. On 2 previous occasions, replacing the push button has been successful. This one seems to be incompatible? One of the codes is different- new one has “Rev. E” old one was “Rev. C”Waste of time, now fed up 🤬

Replacement for old Friedland bell
Works well with my existing Friedland, the push button had broken and this was a great replacement. Although does feel expensive for just the push button...

Not good battery life, not very sensitive.
Purchased to replace original that was packaged with the sounder unit but only lasted a couple of years. Identical to and works as well as the original did. Not a great design from engineering point of view. Coin batteries only last a few weeks to months, even with genuine Duracell ones, and we don't get frequent visitors. Button is not very sensitive and needs to be pressed for almost a second before it registers the press by flashing the red ring around the button. This may give some callers the impression it does not work, if they press only briefly.

Works with older receivers too
I bought this to replace the push button unit on my older Honeywell system, which stopped working after many years. I was worried that it wouldn't connect as my receivers/chimes are probably 10 years old now and are labelled simply as Honeywell as opposed to the newer Honeywell Home branding. Fortunately the push button I received worked on the same 868 Mhz band and paired with both my receivers right away.My only complaint so far is the high price of the unit. £25 for the push button on its own is pretty steep, seeing as a complete set of button + chime costs just £37.48 at the time of this review.
