Dovecraft Essentials Premium Non Toxic Pigment Ink Pad, Gold,8.5 x 2 x 6 cm

I made a mistake in buying a cheaper brand than dovecraft, which is economic in itself, and regretted it.Dovecraft's gold ink pad however, is vivid, durable and seals well to retain moisture.The gold is a wonderful rich colour without looking tacky or cheap.The pad can be a little 'juicy' so press gently.I've found gold to be a great tone to overlay on other colours like black.This would be ideal colour for Yuletide but really can be used for birthdays or other seasonal celebrations.

Used this ink pad to stamp my new address onto all my Christmas cards! Great item!

This is beautiful ink, but beware, it takes an age to dry!! I like to use it on embossed card to show off the design.

Really love the vibrancy and pigment of this ink but when I stamped it onto my paper envelopes it lt took forever to dry. Even after hours it was still transferring, I resorted to sealing it with a gloss sealing spray

What a gorgeous gold colour. I have bought gold ink from a more expensive brand before and it was not ads rich as this one at all. Really lovely and it dries 4x faster than the ink from the other brand. Brilliant!

Unlike my other stamps this stamp is oil based, I'd imagine to distribute the mica powder evenly. The stamp ink is vibrant although I have only tried it on white card. Like oil based paints allow 3-5 days to dry completely before cutting, glueing or putting in cello bags or ink will smudge. (Tell me how I know!) Clean stamp with turpentine paint cleaner to avoid contaminating other water based inks. No other problems with ink pad. Looks great on my christmas cards.
