The media could not be loaded. I really didn't want a clunky baby gate and because of where our stairs are, we couldn't have a pocket/slide gate, so glad I found this one instead! Great that you can still see through it for safety purposes, but it also is almost unnoticeable when retracted. The installation was relatively pain-free with the instructions and hardware that came with the gate. So far it has passed the baby, toddler and spaniel test! Just ensure you 'lock' the gate as seen in the video, or it will keep stretching and may allow a sneaky escape artist to make it underneath.Would definitely recommend

My 10 month old likes to press against it. I can't open it with 1 hand while I hold the baby, which is disappointing, especially when I have a very active baby. Have to put him down and open with 2 hands. It does the job, keeps him kut of the kitchen with the tiled floor. I gave an open plan house.

We actually use the retractable baby gate for our dogs, and it has been a great addition to our home. It's much more attractive than the traditional metal ones.One of the best features is its flexibility; we have ours installed at quite an angle, which wouldn't be possible with metal gates. The gate is lockable, and even kids can use it without any issues.The only downside is that if you forget to lock it and the dogs jump up, there's a risk of damaging the fabric. However, the fabric seems quite durable, so this hasn't been a major problem for us.

I bought this to contain a Labrador, who I know wouldn't jump over it, in part of a sunroom and it's perfect because it retracts back into the holder when not used. As it is soft and strong it would also be great as a baby gate.

Great product. Unfortunately I returned it due to personal reasons. Would but again if needed.

It looks smart however we brought it to stop our dog from getting upstairs and where the mesh of the fabric is bendy she just crawls underneath so defeats the point.
