Great quality and customer service
Customer service was fantastic. The product is easy to cut with sharp kitchen scissors and goes on easily. The dimensions were perfect for my window and blinds. And it works, blocking out most of the light from the sides of the blinds. I tried the cheaper knock off versions, but this was engineered better and worth the premium.

FAVORITE PURCHASE OF 2023!
These sleepy time tracks have been a total game changer! To give some background, I've got a baby, toddler, and older children who only sleep in past 6am if their rooms are DARK. In the past, we bought custom blackout blinds, but there was still light coming in the edges, so we had to use blackout material velcro-ed to their windows. BUT, I hated it because it was a pain to take off to let in light during the daytime when we were awake. So then comes along sleepy time tracks....They block at least 99% of light that came in the side cracks. It was super easy to install and their rooms are perfectly DARK! My kids and partner sleep excellent now and I couldn't be happier!!!!

Works very well but you have to be specific as directions suggested
These are great and the installation is so easy !One of our windows (for the bedroom ) is shallow so I had to apply the sticker side v v v close to the edge of the frame and add the window blocking piece a little forward so that my blinds can go up and down easier. (My blinds are slightly big for the frame) - just Make sure your measure the depth of your window shade - see pic. The other window is really deep - and my husband applied it too far from the shade (he also applied to edge of window sill) so there is a little bit of a gap. So now we have to move the piece back so it blocks more light which shows the magnetic black piece. This works great though and the fact that it is magnetic allows us to be flexible with the blind placement is fantastic. Would recommend if the slits of light bother you !

Blocks The Light, Installs Fast
I am having the same issue as Rox (2018). They install very easy, but when I peeled the tape off and went to line it up on the wall it instantly stuck too far out on the bottom half. I went to remove it quickly thinking I could reposition and the paint was coming off with it. I immediately stopped and just left them where they were. It totally blocks out the light, I just wish I could have gotten them a little closer to the shade, it would have looked nicer. I won't be removing it though unless I want to paint the whole frame. Be aware of that. Maybe I should have peeled down halfway and positioned and then remove the rest. Ahhh hindsight. Anyway, I think they work as intended and really easy to install over all. Time will tell if they continue to adhere. I do think they cost too much though, but I had to get 2 sets 72" long.So far I think they're great and being that they seem to be the only company out there that has anything like this (I like the fact that you can remove the L shape strip to open the windows), they are worth buying.

Excellent!
We have an east facing window. We get beautiful sunrises. But we also get woken up way too early in the summer because of it. Prior to adding these, we'd installed blackout film and shades on the upper windows. And had blackout blinds and curtains on the ones we can reach. The sun was still waking us up. I installed these Sleepy Time Tracks this last weekend to block out the cracks between the shades and the window frame. The room is so much darker now that it's tough to get up in the mornings. That's not a bad problem. It's great to not have to get up with the sun anymore. They were easy to cut and install, too. I also want to commend the seller with their excellent packaging. Great product all around!

These Side Tracks are a godsend for a bright bedroom!
We got blackout shades for our bedroom, not realizing the sizable deduction in width taken by the shade manufacturer would result in a 1/4 inch gap on both sides. To make matters worse, that side of the house has more light in the morning than expected. It truly made it difficult to sleep past 5am, my husband 'the mole' was miserable. I started researching which blinds used the least deduction and was going to reorder new blinds with tighter tolerances. This would have cost us $475 for 3 windows, but since all inside mount shades need some clearance to work, we weren't sure this would solve the problem. Fortunately, I saw a comment about Side Tracks for the 'gap issue', which led me to the Sleepy Time Side Tracks on Amazon. The cost for our 3 windows was $130 - not cheap - but if they worked it would be worth it. Well they are AWESOME! They work exactly as described and look good too. We no longer dread daylight. : ) Note: the double hung windows went as expected, for the casement window with a crank at the bottom, we had to set the tracks out a bit more to clear the crank. Having the shade down when marking for the tracks should account for this. Bottom line, we like these so much we ordered side tracks for our guest bedroom. This is a great product that really fills a need!

They work well but I can't afford as many as I need.
I'm surprised these aren't more widely available. In fact, I'm surprised the two-sided tape isn't sticking directly to the strip. I needed these since the shades leave a gap at the edges (and next door currently has painters on scaffolding looking in). It's not a huge problem but being able to shut out more light and more snooping is good. One suggestion I would give is to put a small hole toward the top and one toward the bottom of the strip so if we wanted to, we could screw in a small screw to hold this more securely over time. I know, I can and will do it but it would have just been nice to have already drilled small holes.Nov. 2020--have had two of these up now for a while and they do block out light coming in on the side of the blinds. However, the magnet band is fairly weak. When I have to move the venetian blinds to open the windows, they push the Side Tracks off the magnet. I wish they'd put one hole toward the top and one toward the bottom so if the buyer wanted to install it a little more permanently, we could. Also, with time the magnet seems to be getting weaker.
