Just a few drops of this will accentuate the flavor of any savory dish. Add while or before cooking, though, and not too much. The “soy sauce” character of this is less pronounced than the American (Chinese) version but still very strong, so needs to meld into the background. Use this like you would use anchovy paste (only this is vegetarian friendly).

Marvelous flavor. In my opinion, this is the best of the Maggi seasoning sauces. Not cheap, but well worth the money.
