Durable and very comfortable
I've had this bonnet for almost a year and a half now, and I love it, I sleep with it on every night. The inside is very soft, and I feel like it's very good for preventing frizz in my curly hair. In the past, I had bonnets from other brands that would start coming apart after a few months, but not this one. It still looks great now! My head is quite small, and thanks to the adjustable strap, it fits perfectly, not too tight but tight enough to not slip. I am actually thinking about buying it again but in Large, since my hair has grown.

Good Quality, Great to Sleep In Or Wear As A Hat in Bad Weather.
I'm female & I bought this just to wear as a hat to protect my hair during inclement weather. It fits well & stays in place even when it's crazy windy outside. I bought another one to sleep in. The silk interior definitely keeps my wrap in place.

Does What Claims— Hard to Keep On
So- this is a lightweight (cotton?) knit sleeping cap on the outside with a silk liner.I have fine hair and wanted protection from my CPAP machine since the straps wreck havoc on my hair. However my CPAP straps seemed to be the only things keeping the cap on my head, as it slides off up to the straps by the time I wake up.Although this cap has an adjustable elastic band built in, it doesn’t stay on well with natural sleep movement. When it does stay on (somewhat), it makes my head sweat more than usual at night, which might make me toss and turn more. The jury’s still out on that.Anyway, with it mostly on all night, when I get up, my hair is flattened and droopy. However, the cap does air-dry nicely (I just invert it over a bottle on my dresser). Also, when it stays on, my hair does feel softer and sheds less— and is protected from my CPAP straps. The silk liner works.Aesthetic-wise, the cap doesn’t look like an old-time night cap from days gone by like the storybook imagery of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’.However, maybe those people knew what they were doing…?! Maybe their old style stayed on better? So my conclusion is that this cap would be good to wear if you tend to get cold at night and could use the additional heat. It’s nice for your hair if you can find a way to keep it on at night and if your head tends to sweat at night, this hat will probably make it worse. So hopefully, you won’t mind blowing your hair out in the morning, (which resulting heat damage might defeat the gains made from wearing it in the first place?)I think people with “big hair” might just find this cap to be a dream— as I’m guessing it would probably stay on their hair better. But for people with fine, straight hair like me, there are probably designs that would work better even if they do look more old fashioned…?I don’t know for sure as this was my first time with a hair cap at night.So- yes, this seems to protect your hair when it stays on, if you can get used to it. Perhaps I need to keep trying so I get more used to it?But maybe just using a silk pillowcase and silk scrunchies would be more comfortable…? So far, I think so.So yes— this cap does what they claim and the real silk does wonderful things for your hair. However, the outer knit layer might make it too heavy to stay on fine, straight hair, and too hot for (post menopausal) people who already run a little hot at night.

This bonnet feels so good and has a comfortable fit. Colors are awesome!
My daughter bought me an OleSilk bonnet 5 years ago, it still looks brand new. I wanted to try different colors and purchased 2 pink, a heather gray, and a dark gray. My daughter loved the pink and took one. I use the OleSilk bonnet with my CPAP to keep my hair from breaking and getting stuck in the headgear. I also sometimes wear it during the day because it is so comfortable. It also works great when cooking and baking. The fit is great. It hand washes with good results. The colors are perfect.

Feels great but elastic headband is a problem
This is overall a nice silk cap for those wishing to protect their hair during sleep. The outer modal fabric is soft and slick, and the inner silk feels real. This beanie-style cap is not for those with lots of hair but is a really great option for shorter cuts or mens' styles. My biggest gripe about the product, and the reason I only give it 3-stars, is that the adjustable elastic band (which helps keep it on your head during sleep) is approximate 1/2" wide and sewn into a fabric channel of approximately 1-1.5". Because the elastic is not tacked or in a smaller channel, it rolls while taking it on and off and eventually no longer lies flat against your forehead.

comfortable and does the job
I have long, fine hair that tangles easily and I've taken to sleeping with it in a ponytail at night to wrangle it and keep my cpap straps from pulling on my hair. My hairline indicates that this wasn't a good idea.I also wanted to try heatless curls overnight but the CPAP straps were playing havoc with the rollers. This cap holds the robercurler in place nicely while I sleep and it keeps my cpap straps from pulling on my hair whether or not I'm using the curler. The exerior fabric is nice and soft and the silk inside is good quality for the price. It's winter now, so the added warmth is appreciated; not sure how I'll feel about that in summer.Overall I'm pretty happy and I will get one of these for my daughter who has curly hair. The elastic could stand to be a little higher quality and wider to fit the channel better but it works all right. The elastic will be easy to replace when it wears out.

Cuts down time in hair routine in the morning.
Comfortable. Easily adjustable. Protects hair well. Hair stays clean longer. Just take it off in the morning, shake your head and go! Thin enough not to be hot, but not chintzy. Great price.

a favorite
This is my favorite bonnet! The inside fabric is smooth and stays fairly dry even if I put it on over damp hair. I love the charcoal color and the outer fabric also feels nice. My only complaint is the sizing. I really have to pull the elastic to get it to stay, if it's too loose it either falls off or will slide down my face. The child sized one is too tight though. The top part has plenty of room & even though my hair doesn't fill it out, it's lightweight enough that it doesn't feel floppy or anything like that. It does say hand wash only, I have not tried machine washing it, but I typically use an old salad spinner for hand wash items. Instead of laundry soap, I wash in the salad spinner with a little bit of dawn dish soap and it comes out great, drying quickly too. Even with the sizing complaint, this is still my favorite bonnet.
