Fantastic price
This product is fantastic. For such a cheap price i didn't expect such a powerful machine. The machine is very easy to set up with the instructions helping you throughout. There is also a troubleshooting section for most problems that users may incur. In the package as well as getting the coffee machine you also get a handy bin to place your empty pods and you also get a starter pack of coffee capsules, which is great considering the price i paid. It is also very sturdy with a great build quality for such a low price. The machine is very good and is just what you would expect with a coffee machine. The main feature that i liked was that you can adjust the machine for different sized cups in terms of length which made it easier to prevent splashing. The water is also heated up in a matter of seconds which means you can quickly make a coffee. Overall the main advantages of the product is the price, the clear instructions and the handy accessories that come with the product. (It all comes with a £10 voucher for other Dolce Gusto products) The main issues i had with the product was with the price of the pods further down the line, they are far more expensive than a box of instant coffee. However this was the only issue i had with the product. To summarize; The overall advantages of the product are;. The price. Accessories being included. Easy set-up. Great build qualityThe overall disadvantages were;. The price of the Coffee PodsI would definitely recommend buying this product over other machines because of the amazing price.

bargin!
i snapped up this coffee machine when it was reduced to £60 and it was a bargin!the machine is black and looks very stylish in my kitchen. its very easy to use and also easy to clean. when you switch it on it takes about 30 seconds to be ready and a green light comes on when its ready to use. the tray at the bottom can be adjusted to the correct height of the glass or mug you are using and the machine comes with a little bin to put your used coffee pods in after use to cool down.the machine comes with picture instructions on how to use and clean etc and it also came with a few coffee pods to try. the water jug on the back probably makes about 4 cups before it needs refilling.the coffee itself is amazing. proper coffee shop coffee and i bought new latte tall glasses to go with it. i must admit its the best gadget i own and i love it. compared to some other machines my friends have such as tassimo, the gusto is quicker (it takes about 1 minute for a coffee) and the pods are slighty cheaper. i buy them from the gusto shop online and they are cheaper than the supermarkets. the only downside i can think of is that the cable at the back of the machine isnt very long so it needs to sit right by a plug socket.

Simple, easy to use, great coffee.
I bought this about a week ago at a much cheaper price - £65 off and I am very pleased with it. The coffee was not as hot as I like but I have found that if I leave the green light on for a few more seconds then it is hotter than when I turn the handle right away. I was surprised that it wasn't the automatic one - which threw me at first but that is my own fault for not reading enough - but I am now much happier that it is manual as I find some coffee is bitter but by diluting it more it gives a better flavour for me - it all depends on how you like your coffee. I have found that you can buy bags of some coffee pods without the milk pods included - which makes it cheaper - instead I let more hot water run into the mug and add a little powdered milk that I prefer the taste of - this saves having to heat some milk separately. The one thing I am concerned about is the amount of rubbish it creates by using the pods as I do drink a lot of coffee and I much prefer the taste compared to instant. The reusable pods don't have good reviews. It is good to buy a bag of mixed flavours to find which ones you really like then look for the best price on them too.

Nescafe Dolce Gusto Melody 3 With Manual Hot/Cold Water Dispensing Lever
I bought my Nescafe Dolce Gusto Melody 3 coffee machine without knowing that there are in fact 2 models; one with hot or cold liquid dispensing via a manual lever and one in which the known volume of hot or cold liquid is automatically dispensed, depending on the number of times you press a button to change an illuminated scale. All the Dolce Gusto drink pods that you insert in the machine come with the automatic scale guides printed on the packaging along with a description of the actual volume that the printed scale equates to. In my ignorance, I had bought the manual lever version of the machine. I was worried at first that I had made the wrong purchase but on use, I find the manual lever version to be more flexible, allowing me to adapt my drink concentrations as I wish. I am now pleased that I did make the right purchase as I sometimes use smaller and larger glasses in addition to the recommended 250 ml glasses. I am all together very pleased with my machine and enjoy the straight coffee and hot chocolate. The Cappuccino pods use milk powder instead of real milk but the result is not bad for the preparation of fast drink. When I have more time, I do stick to my other ground coffee espresso machine that also heats real milk using steam to make my cappuccinos as you get the taste of a genuine cappuccino. Altogether, I am pleased that I bought my Dolce Gusto system as you can produce decent coffees quickly and with minimal effort and minimal clearing up afterwards.

Lovely machine - no starter pods though
This coffee machine looks fantastic. Very easy to use. Two niggles: 1 - The starter pods were not included though the box and description on Amazon says they should be there. 2 - It could do with some kind of measurement system. You have to take a guess at how much water to put in, there's no timer or system of knowing, so it's easy to have a very weak or very strong drink. The website sells glasses with handles for the different drink levels, however you need one for the latte machiatto, one for cappuccino, one for espresso, etc... That's a lot of cups in funky colours. Must be an easier way.Otherwise I really like it. Once you get the right ratio it tastes great.
