Gives a clean, bright sound...
It's a great slide, but probably a bit short for me. The best sound I get is with a 5cm diameter glass, but it's too cumbersome. I do think a slide could be fashioned with a 5cm partial circumference, i.e. sectioned off, so not cylindrical but arched or eliptical.

Ideal for my purposes, but expensive for what it is.
Planet Waves PWGS-B Glass Bottle Slide:I assume that these are just common glass, as it doesn't state Pyrex anywhere. As such, it's an extremely expensive pill bottle. Unfortunately, I was unable to source cheap pill bottles of the same size and shape, so I bit the bullet and coughed up £10.99. At the end of the day, it's ideal for my needs, as most regular guitar bottlenecks/slides are too tight for me. I only knocked one star off because of the high price.

Better than my other slides
I held off purchasing the bottle neck slide for some while, mainly due to it's price, but I wish I hadn't. I find it so much easier to use. It's quite roomy, but because of the narrower neck and enclosed end I find it much better to play with and have more control than I've experienced with other slides. Since I've had this I haven't wanted to use my brass slides. One minor downside is that because it has a closed end it can get quite sweaty inside and I like to rinse it out occasionally.

Three Stars
I must have pretty large fingers. But plays lovely.

A unique but genius design
I dabble in lots of different things. I've tried various slides before; all of them have been open ended tube style. I didn't notice this difference until I saw, and bought this bottle (closed end) design, but this is easier and more consistent to use.Since the top is closed, it stops at the tip of your finger. Every single time. I can use this slide on any finger. being loose or tight is irrelevant. You're not relying on the girth of your finger to hold it in place. I have started aligning my slide from the LOW E side of the fretboard, where I'd always done it from the HIGH E side with an open ended slide.Slide has been a bit of a mysterious dark art to me. This closed ended slide actually gives me a sense of control and possibilities. Open tuning help a lot too.

GOOD BUT A LITTLE SMALL FOR ME -
A LOVELY SLIDE BUT A LITTLE SMALL FOR ME. I HAD TO TRY A REPLICA OF THE OLD CORACIDIN MEDICINE BOTTLE THAT DUANE ALLMAN USED TO USE FOR SLIDE PLAYING. THE TONE FROM GLASS IS SO SWEET COMPARED TO OTHER MATERIALS, AT LEAST THATS IN MY HUMBLE OPINION.

but it's the best slide I've ever used
A little expensive for what it is, especially with delivery added on top, but it's the best slide I've ever used. Beautiful long sustain and fits snugly on the finger, at the right length. Glass is good because it's less noisy than the metal slides, but if you prefer a heavier slide, go for brass as this one is quite light (but I prefer that).
