I have started using zip wax recently and found it to be a brilliant car washing shampoo. Water beads well after washing and leaves a great shine. I have used alot of other car shampoo. I think I'll stick to zipwax. Best results in my opinion

You can't go wrong with Turtle Wax. a cup full or two in a large bucket of hot water, give it a mix and you're set. Cleans off heavy dirt convincingly and doesn't smear or leave marks. It's cheap, it's been around for so many years I've lost count, and it does exactly what it says it does. You can spend a fortune on fancy car shampoos and washing systems, but why bother?If you've been looking in to how best to preserve your car's paintwork, of course the foaming technique using a pressure washer is probably high on your list. But a straightforward wash is also perfectly acceptable and nice and safe if you use waffle cloths and use a sieve / separator at the bottom of your soapy water bucket, and use a separate cloth-rinse bucket just with cold water in it and also with a sieve / separator at the bottom. Use a straight wiping method from one side of a body panel to the other, and remember to rinse your cloth regularly. Never use circular rubbing motions as these will induce swirl patterns in your paintwork if there's grit around. Change the soapy water and rinse water regularly if you're washing really dirty parts of the car. I usually use one bucket for the top half of the car down to the waist line, then another bucket for the lower half of the car.
