Superb, and if it isn't you're using it wrong!!
I spent a good deal of time looking for a food flask, which was easy to use and looked half decent. I was not disappointed with this product at all!!I recommend priming the flask with boiled water before use, this is really just good practice for any flask, when aiming to keep the contents suitably hot!! I can heat my soup/ stew through at 8:00am and by 12/ 1 pm it is still piping hot - and I have total confidence that the heat would last until I got home, if I didn't eat it for my lunch. With this product, use caution when putting the lid on, simply to ensure a tight fit and thus keeping the heat in. Once you have primed for 10-15mins, with the lid on, simply tip the hot water out and pour hot food in immediately, again, to help lock in heat. This flask offers great portion size, filled to the top is a huge amount of soup to eat! (doesn't matter if homemade, because you'll know how much goodness is in there, but wouldn't advise eating a full container of processed food every day, unless you want to pile on the pounds!)All in all, a great, robust and high quality product, which really delivers! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone!!

Brilliant flask, with 6 months of use I find it difficult to believe the bad reviews
I decided to trust the majority of reviewers comments and with over 6 months use I cannot be more pleased. After reading some negative reviews I decided to test it properly so after the initial pre warm as you should do with all flasks I filled it with boiling water 98'c, eight hours later I opened the flask and tested 74'c I the left the same water in for another 12 hours and 52'c. I use this for out on the road and prepare food at 0430 and eat around midday and it is still literally steaming hot. Ideal for stews and soups but you have to let it cool or use a bowl. Pasta and rice dishes cool a bit quicker unless you have a lot of sauce and needs experimenting as you need to undercook the rice or pasta and make the sauce watery to allow for it to continue cooking and absorb the water while in the flask, if not the meal can become stodgy or dry.. Once you get the cooking right it is a welcome change from sandwiches and warming on cold days.To the guy who said it leaks and cold in and hour I can only assume you cross threaded the lid which can be done if rushing so yes it will leak and cool quickly as there is no seal created. The neck is a little small for big hands to fit inside to clean but majority of the time it cleans out with a swill under the tap or use your brain and wash brush or sponge and a spoon. It is large enough to fill easily with food and eat from it direct. Before you decide to buy I suggest testing your portion size as some days I need the full litre other days I struggle. Make a typical meal and use a measuring jug or similar to see if the ¾ or ½ litre would suit you better.

Brilliant for hot lunches at work - really keeps food hot a long time
I have 2 of these food flasks - I love having hot food for lunch during my gardening job.The capacity is really generous. Even so, I usually manage to eat it all up :) sometimes using one flask for soup and one for porridge/grain/noodles.They keep food really hot for a long time - I've never found the food to be anything other than hot, even if I eat later in the afternoon.I first bought one in 2017. I've been using them ever since, often daily, especially through the winter.Totally rely on them and think they're great.

Good quality and value for money.
Good size for kids lunches and a great price compared to others on the market. We've been using 2 of these for a couple of months now and overall very impressed. No leaks and food stays hot for several hours if flask is preheated.Only downsides are ;No steam release button - can be difficult to open due to the vacuum particularly with round stainless steel to hold (no grips).Rubber seal is fiddly to replace after washing. All in all very happy with them, good quality and value for money.

Very happy with this purchase.
I bought this for my husband as he loves to have soup every few days or so and we were tired of the old leak-y plastic container that we used before this. No more cold soup for my hubby for sure! Now, I can't take this as set in stone because what hot soup means for him is just a bit more than lukewarm to me. Anyway, after around 8h he claimed the soup was so hot he had to keep the flask open for 20+ minutes to cool down, for him to be able to eat it. I keep forgetting to test this claim myself but since he's the one using it, I just believe it keeps it hot enough to enjoy it after several hours. The soup was very hot when i poured it into the flask as I had just finished cooking it so that might be one reason it was still too hot to eat after 8 hours.Features:- The flask is completely cold on the outside while I pour really hot soup into it and it stays cold while keeping the food inside hot for several hours. So it is totally safe. It can be even safe for children as long as they can unscrew the top easily without the risk of pouring hot liquids on themselves, it seals very well so it might not be that easy.- Completely leak proof. Nothing escapes the vacuum insulated cap, which is covered by a plastic bowl like cap and then another cap that you see in the presentation picture. So two screw tops plus the plastic insert between them (that I don't know what it's for). I have not noticed any leakage what so ever no even within itself.- We got the 700ml one, which holds up to two bowls of soup. Wasn't sure about getting a bigger one or not, but my husband says this one is big enough for him.
