Good quality and price
Can't quite get the hang of all the settings, and can't tell how to use it without the grill function. Works fine anyway. And seems good quality and something which will last a while which is what I wanted. Good price for the quality

Heats food quickly and painlessly - a great choice :)
This microwave looks fantastic in the kitchen - the modern stainless steel look goes perfectly with my other kitchen appliances too. Overall this microwave works really well and I'm very pleased with the purchase.PROS:It's 900W - most microwaves around this price range are about 800W. Having that extra 100W makes a noticeable difference when heating your food. My old microwave was 1200W and while I notice food does take a bit longer in this microwave, it's really not that bad (and I don't think I'd want to pay double this just to have a 1200W microwave).I haven't actually tried the grill function yet but I like that it exists - it will save me from using lots of energy to heat the grill on my oven. The buttons and dial are extremely easy to use. Turning the knob clockwise increases the heating time in 10 second increments. You can push the round knob to quickly heat something for 30 seconds, and push it again as many times as you want to add more time in 30s increments. You can also push the knob and dial backwards to go up in 1 minute increments. Simply dialing the knob anti-clockwise (without pushing it) will take you to the maximum time, which is something like 45 minutes. The other buttons are simple and easy to navigate. The microwave isn't loud and doesn't have an obnoxious beep or anything - very pleasant to use.The Russell Hobbs brand, to me, has always delivered great quality products, which makes me feel that this microwave should last for a long time.CONS:The grill sits inside the microwave on the roof, and sort of hangs down a bit. That's absolutely fine most of the time. I often heat plates of food with a plastic plate cover on top though and it can be a wee bit of a tight fit getting it in with the grill - I tend to have to put the plate cover on the plate before putting the plate in the microwave, rather than being able to put it in after the plate's in there. But really that's a very small complaint, and it comes with having a slightly smaller microwave.Overall I'm really pleased with my purchase. It looks great, works well, and has that extra bit of power compared to other microwaves in the same sort of price range. :)

Don't buy this microwave.
I thought the grill was useless. The turn table keeps falling off the mounting.Apart from that it works OK.Would I buy it again, no.

Honest review after over a year of owning. AVOID!
The media could not be loaded. Do not buy. Lasted barely 18months but see the video for that. The most irritating feature is the alleged ‘safety’ one where, should you be busy actually getting food ready for said microwave and not press anything or open the door for a few minutes the whole microwave function LOCKS. So you have to close and open the door again to re-ignite its functionality. As someone without children the fact there is no option to disable this w@nk safety feature is beyond annoying. And even if I had kids, microwaves are a table top height at minimum so this means any crawling baby/small toddler will not be able to reach to use it and as we all know any child these days above counter top reaching height is lazy as hell and will rely on parents to do everything for them. Useless annoying feature which needs to be removed or at least able to be disabled. So onto what now seems to be the preemptive stages of death for my microwave. I’m not a heavy user of this device but I do use it probably 3-4 times a week. I mainly use it for reheating meals, frozen veg or baked potatoes. Occasionally I’ll use the grill function. It’s ok. Nothing remarkable. Except tonight after I microwaved my frozen peas. Once they were done (after 1min and 20sec) the microwave threw what I can only describe as a massive paddy. Beeping and racing through the digital display like a Aldi checkout person on crystal meth checking your items at a rate of knots. I turned it off at the plug fearing some kind of electrical explosive finale, so what you see in the video is me recording it after I switched it back on - clearly it was still determined to finish its riotous beepy meltdown. Needless to say I turned it off at the plug again to avoid any kind of home insurance claiming disaster type scenario.Do NOT buy. It’s not great. The alleged safety feature is beyond irritating and the longevity despite mild use is absolute pants.

Excellent
Perfect microwave... It's just the right size, looks good and cooks great. It's so easy to use too. Pop something in and press the knob a few times until the display says 3.30 (for example) or alternatively turn the knob to the required time and press it in. Want perfect cheese on toast? Toast the bread in a toaster as usual, sprinkle with cheese, then put it on the metal rack and into the microwave, press the grill button and twist the knob to 2.30 and push it in. Perfect! Hope it lasts as I'm very impressed.

Has the Quality improved?
This will be the third RH microwave. But before you think I must really like them..... The positives for me is that these are combi (I do not use grill much but it can be useful), and the footprint fits on available space in small kitchen. The first oven broke down after 3 years, hmmm... I was tempted to buy again thinking I was unlucky. The next one lasted only one year before failing with what seemed like the same issue! So my third one is actually a free replacement under 'goodwill/warranty'. I have noted that RH have made some subtle changes, the vent position changed and the unit now has a 'run on fan' to cool down the electronics etc after use. It will be interesting to see if these changes make the oven last longer as it is possible previous failures were down to an electronics failure due to overheating.
