Sparks started flyin outta the blender last nite,where do I send it to for a replacement???

Ok, so as blenders go this is a very expensive item, but I so wanted to improve my 5 a day intake I ended up going for this after watching the adds for things like nutri bullet. I have had so many devices over the years that end up not getting used due to fiddling around. Either that or that are great for a time and then they break. A couple of things I wanted were 1, quantity. Making one cup of smoothie at a time would just be annoying if you have a family, and 2, durability. Being able to fling in fruit and veg and not worry about removing pips or peeling stuff and knowing that it would get pulped properly was important as my kids hate drinks with lumps.My first Hamilton blender was dead on arrival, so I was a tad sceptical, but could hear a rattle inside so assumed it had just been abused in the post, so I had it replaced.Now after using it for a couple of months all I can say is this thing will last a lifetime and breakdown fruit and veg to a liquid with ease. In addition to the normal stuff you can put ice in there to make slush, peel go zest and fruits like pineapple and kiwi don't require peeling. Just chop into chunks and blend. You can make 2 litres of smoothie, enough to share with the whole family! Build quality is as good as it gets with chunky pieces of metal gearing that won't shear off or give up. It's a lot of money for a blender, but I am counting on this lasting years unlike the to advertised stuff that won't. So if you can afford one you won't be disappointed.

As other reviewers have noted, this is a high-quality piece of equipment, as you would expect for the price. It is also clearly designed for heavy commercial use.Good features:- the controls are simple as pie: a switch for High speed/Low speed/Pulse; a timer dial with settings in 5 second increments from 5-40 seconds, plus "continuous"; a start/stop switch. Big chunky controls. Easy and quick for a busy bartender.- the blender is specified for maximum 3 minutes continuous operation. If you exceed this, there is an automatic cut-out to prevent damage from overheating. There is a switch on the base of the unit to 'reset' the cut-out, once the machine has cooled down- the base unit is solid, heavy and sits on non-stick feet. It does not move around even on a smooth worktop.- it comes out of the box in 2 parts - base and jug - with no assembly required- All parts of the jug are solid. Polycarbonate jug is around 3mm thick, lid is thick rubber with screw-in filler cap- There is a sensor to prevent it operating if the container is not properly on the base.- There is a rubber cover on the base, where the jug fits onto the "prongs" that hold it in place. This rubber cover can be removed for ease of washing, without risk of water getting in the main unit- The blender is covered by a 2 year guarantee. Beyond this, Hamilton Beach website shows that you can replace almost any part of the unit individually, from an individual foot up to a whole motor or control board. So, you need not worry about having to replace the whole thing for the sake of a single fault.Some points to consider:- the jug CANNOT be put in a dishwasher- the (very robust) gear and blade are fixed into the jug, so the only way to clean it is by putting detergent and water into the jug and "blending" it. The same technique is used to disinfect, with a solution of bleach and water.- the instruction manual is absolutely minimal. There is a whole page of warnings (largely legal cover for Hamilton Beach?) and 3 pages of pictures (without text) on how to operate / clean.- sad to say, Amazon UK appears not to be the cheapest place to buy this. It is widely available for considerably less in the UK (and in US it is the usual dollar to pound equivalence)

I bought this as an amazon warehouse deal. I didn’t expect the quality or condition of he product to be all that.I HAVE BEEN BLOWN AWAY!!!!I have also used a number of blenders in my life time, but this particular brand and model is impressive. This blender is advertised as a commercial blender but, I bought it for home use.One impressive task I observed from this blender is it can split açai seeds within a couple of seconds!!! I surely don’t suppose there many blenders on the market that can even split açai seeds. In my opinion if a blender can split açai seeds, then it will split anything.Many thanks amazon!!! Just when I was starting to loose hope in warehouse deals, I am reminded of the treasures that they sometimes have!Mostly many thanks to Hamilton for making such an impressive masterpiece!!!!

The best blender on the market.

What an excellent product this is. Straight out of the box this can be plugged in, switched on at the back and can be used immediately (though you may want to rinse through the system as per the instruction booklet).It has a series of time settings which means you don't have to watch over it if you know how long what you're blending needs. It has two different speed settings and a pulse setting too.It's sturdy and put together so it doesn't move all across your worktop when in use.I've made milkshakes, smoothies and frozen cocktails with ease and the machine has been great no matter what I've put in.Its a bit noisy but no worse than other models I've had in the past. And despite its position as a "commercial" piece of kit its perfect for home use, not taking up too much space.Basically this is a top notch blender that does what it does superbly whatever the ingredients you are using. And it feels like a substantial, quality device. It oozes class. Highly recommended.
