Spear & Jackson 4867RS Razorsharp Lawn Shear [Energy Class A]

I already own the Spear & Jackson Razorsharp Steel Lawn Shears however I have never really been happy with them as I find them quite heavy to use and they also make my back ache but it was only when I was reading a review about those shears that I realised that Spear & Jackson also made these which are a lot lighter and slightly longer. I have just cut the edges of my lawn with these new shears and the difference is amazing - they are so light to use and my back did not ache at all as I did not find myself stooping over and the blades really are razor sharp. My husband also tried them out and he too found them so much easier to use than the previous ones so I would say that these are definitely worth paying that bit extra for than the 'steel' ones.

Sharp shears and lightweight. I finally gave up on the electric string trimers, constantly breaking, spending more money on parts than should be necessary and newer ones simply do not cut. Not sure how that is because they are selling. This product works great. My wrists are still sore after and during using this, I think it is because the weight on the end and the angle stresses your wrists somewhat, although it's not intolerable. I purchased this primarily to edge grass next to a low brick planter wall. Although it does cut, I do have trouble getting every little strand next to the wall. Don't expect perfection, at least not at first. Overall, I am thrilled with a product that is reliable and simple to use.

The lawn shears are very sharp and work well. The handles are a good length, long enough for me, a fairly tall person and not too long for my Mum who is a fair bit shorter.They are not the most stylish to look at, the angle of the blades takes a bit of getting used to but once I had a good practice I can work them fine.

Nice sharp shears

These shears were a godsend when I found that my electric strimmer really wasn't up for the job of getting through thick clumped grass and weeds. These razor sharp blades made light work of it and are great for edging too. Lightweight but sturdy, easy to use and just the right height for me. I would definitely recommend.

These are nice and sharp but bit heavy to use

Not used these yet but bought them as lightweight and looked good value.Rather disappointed with delivery. Took 3 attempts apparently to deliver them to me but I was in all day every day and no one knocked on the door or rang the bell or phoned me. I was only aware of the 'failed attempts to deliver' because that's what it said on my Amazon account.When delivery DID take place the delivery person was wearing a ball cap and kept his head right down. He did hand over the package carefully.PackagingThe black plastic bag the shears were in had worn though at the top of the handles, and was open/slit/split at the side partway down, so wasn't great.Looking forward to a dry day when I can try them out.

Really hard to buy in a shop. Nowhere seems to stock this shape. Needed this shape for my weird shaped garden and I'm really pleased with them. They are very sharp and most efficient. They feel very strong and work really smoothly.
