Bockingford 933 A4 190 gsm Inkjet Watercolour Paper (Pack of 20)

I always use this paper for art / illustration prints with my A3 8 colour inkjet printer. The results are usually excellent. It’s very high quality, thick, water colour type paper.

I've recently got into giclee printing of my art works and I have to say this paper is just fantastic. I also bought (and have reviewed) the St Cuthberts Mill sampler pack which I also highly recommend. The colour reproduction (on a Canon Pro-100S) is excellent and the paper feels wonderful. It's smooth and feels so 'warm' compared with regular inkjet paper. I am now a massive fan and am getting through this batch rather too quickly. I am so pleased with the results that I have started selling reprints of my classic aviation art (Etsy classicaviation3d) all printed on this high quality paper.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Nice for art-effect printed pictures, but can get stuck in HP inkjet printer

This paper is a bit expensive, but I wanted my Xmas watercolour paintings to look authentic on my cards.Printing the images onto this paper makes them feel like proper watercolours. I don't think they would pass as "originals" (although that might be down to my cheap printer!), but the have come out really well.

This is a DREAM - its perfection and its just as described. The world of inkjet meets my watercolours and paints with resistance and holds my colours in defined lines. I made sure i held it by a tiny edge so as not to ruin the coating and used only one sheet in my printer. It ran through my simple HP printer that cost only £27 and the images were superb. I let it dry on my window sill for a full 24 hours and then used it to paint. I am suitably impressed and am looking for images i want to paint so i can use another sheet of your wonderful card / paper. I read all the US reviews and thought it couldn't be that good...............BUT it is.Ill be back come payday for more.............sad only 20 sheets available.

This paper is lovely and says that it is double sided, however, it really really did not like printing on one side of the paper. It didn't work on my ink jet printer, or my dads which made using it very tricky. Ended up having to manually guide it through which meant a lot of paper was wasted as it didn't always print straight. Quite disappointing as the quality of the paper is really nice.

I'm an amateur artist, but have had hopes of selling prints and cards. I'm just starting out so I have been looking for good value paper for both prints and cards. I'm not selling anything for big bucks but I don't want to use cheap supplies. I've had a bit of a nightmare trying to find good value, good quality card stock, but the paper.... well it's been love at first sight. I'd originally bought a big sample of different papers and knew what I liked. I really liked the Somerset velvet from the sample pack, but for my early printing trials I did not want to spend so much money. I went for the Bockingford with the hope that it had some of the qualities of the Somerset velvet. It does, in spades. I'm in no rush to upgrade my paper yet but when I do I think it's going to be by St Cuthbert Mill.
