The best on the market!
By far the best B12 I have used. It is a small tablet, dissolves easily, not at all gritty, and tastes great.Did you know that one of the most common nutrient deficiencies involves vitamin B-12,. It is a crucial nutrient for nerve health and the construction of red blood cells that carry oxygen throughout your body. Because vitamin B-12 from food can only be absorbed in the small intestine, and due to common intestinal ailments many people are unable to absorb it in their gut. I was one of those people. Additionally, medications can interfere with your absorption B12 from food (especially medications like those for GERD/acid reflux. I was taking that for years. And, finally, an autoimmune disorder called pernicious anemia can cause your body to not absorb B12 from food sources. I have this as well.Vit B12 deficiency can lead to a series of seemingly "mystery" health symptoms (chest pain, shortness of breath, fatigue, unexplained weakness, dizziness, trouble with balance, fainting, confusion, memory loss or dementia, coldness, numbness or tingling in the hands and feet, slow reflexes or diminished nervous system function, pale skin, sore mouth/tongueLike many people who are deficient in vitamin B-12, I had to receive injections of B-12. This is extremely effective because it bypasses the digestive tract and goes right into the bloodstream, but giving yourself a shot once a week isn't fun, nor is it cheap! I looked into supplementing with nutritional supplements. But here's where this can go wrong: The most commonly available form of vitamin B-12 on the market is the cheap synthetic form called cyanocobalamin. Cyanocobalamin is not found anywhere in nature.Methylcobalamin is the form that exists in nature, and it is "pre-methylated," meaning it's ready for your body to put to immediate use. It is absorbed and retained better than cyanocobalamin. I take a high dose (compared to the RDA) of methylcobalamin (this 5mg sublingual) every day, but it has enabled me to get off injectable B12.Of course, I am not a doctor or a medical professional, so I can only tell you what works for me. Be sure and consult your medical practitioner if you have questions on what you should take regarding B12*personal purchase

Very good for oral methyl B-12 treatment
Methyl B12 is a form of B12 vitamin that the body is ready to absorb, as opposed to the other more common form that you would find at vitamin stores, cyanocobalamin. By taking the methyl form, your body does not need to do the extra work converting it to the form that the brain is ready to use. Many autistic kids are lacking the enzyme that is needed to convert the B12 to the methyl form, which the brain needs for things such as eye contact, social skills, etc; so this is a very good product for that kind of need.At first I tried this product because it has a higher dosage of methyl B12 than you would normally find at vitamin stores. I use this product as part of my son's bio medical treatment. My son has high functioning autism and responded really well with this product. I also tried it and could feel the increased awareness and concentration. When taking B12 vitamin orally, you have to let it dissolve slowly in your mouth so you can get as much as possible into the bloodstream and by bypassing the digestion. If you simply swallow it, it would just go directly into your digestive system and get secreted right away through urine. That's why the shots are very effective for extreme B12 deficiency because then it goes directly into the blood stream. I highly recommend this product especially if you need to try out your tolerance for methyl B12 before trying out other forms. Knowing that my son responded well to the oral methyl B12, I started him on the methyl B12 shots and saw huge improvements; he used to hit, kick, and scream at school, and was very impulsive, but as soon as he started the shots he no longer has those issues AT ALL.This one tastes good, and if you just put it behind your upper lip, and move it around every now and then, you don't even have to think about it until it fully dissolves. For more information on methyl B12 treatments for autism, visit [...]

I have been taking this product for a LONG time - it works well for me, and I'll continue to take it!
I am one of those people who has to take the co-factors of B-12, not Cyanocobalamin, and I have to take the co-factors in pretty high doses for it to be effective for me. I've been taking Source Naturals Methylcobalamin for a long time - a couple of years at least, and I;m really happy with it. I put it under my tongue and it dissolves really well. It tastes good too - so no complaints there! It gives me a bit of a boost in energy and my B12 on my bloodwork has been better since I've been taking the co-factors - which was the whole point of taking the sublinguals - energy, better bloodwork, and avoiding shots - which are usually Cyanocobalamin and didn't improve my bloodwork.I would recommend Source Naturals Methylcobalamin for anyone with a B-12 deficiency or the MTHR genetic problem.*the only one tiny thing I don't care for is the red dye - if I brush my teeth within an hour of taking it, my tongue is red, and when I rinse, I spit red, but I can live with that because it's the only issue I have. ...And NO I DON'T have a problem with the miniscule amount of sugar in this product! ; )

Sometimes even this product is not enough
Vitamin B-12 can be hard to your body to process. This turned out to be the case for me with this product. It's too bad since this cherry flavor sublingual is so easy to take. This is a great product if your body is able to absorb it.Methylcobalamin has been shown to be the easiest form of B12 for your body to process, but sometimes even the sublingual won't work. My next step is to try the methylcobalamin in spray form. If that doesn't work, I'll have to try a B12 shot. I'm not crazy about that idea, so I'll try the spray form first. I have b12 anemia, and after taking this and Thorne Research B complex for months my anemia is still there.
