I bought 5 different Global knives at once.They are not hand-made, but have been improved. The Global knife never disappoint me!!

I have owned Global knives for over 15 years now and the original set are still going strong with sharpness restored very easily.As expected this knife is exceptionally sharp out of the box and was a present to myself for the holiday season.It has been used several times now, the onion stood no chance! The roast pork could be finely sliced even went hot and the gammon joint slicing was sublime and so easy.The knife is perfectly balanced and the handle as always comfortable to hold.These knives are an investment for the kitchen that will never disappoint.

This is a surprisingly large knife but still well balanced to use. I found it great for slicing a roast or leg of ham. Good for any push/pull type of cutting of larger produce. The acutely angled tip is also handy for fine work. It was razor sharp out of the box and so far has only needed a touch up with a diamond steel to stay that way, but I only use it on wood or nylon cutting boards. The cutting edge of the knife is 236mm long, the total blade length is 245mm to the start of the handle, and the blade is 43mm deep at the heel.
